I understand that we are suppose to be a defensive team but there is only so much that a defense can do. Our offense has been flat out discusting the past couple of games and our defense hasant been that great either. The thing that boggles my mind is the fact that we have great players that can score yet for some reason they cant execute. The players have to take blame to a certain extent but now its gotten to the point where it cant be there fault anymore. Someone other then the players need to take the blame for there poor offensive execution. I dont know whether its poor coaching, lack of leadership or the players not wanting it. Personally i think its time that Jeff takes more heat for the mistakes that he has clearly made. It would be one thing if we were loosing with a team that wasant that great but we have a really good solid team. Alot better then most people give us credit for. I am not trying to rag on Jeff's coaching or anything because i think he is a good coach but he just doesnt seem to know what to do with the guys he has. I love this team way too much to watch them struggle like this when i know they can play better then they are now. I think this team and the coach needs a real gut check or its going to be a long season for the players and a short one for the coach..
if we can't put points on the board, what's the point of playing defense? if we can't score more than our opponents, how can we win?
