Not sure what would hurt his trade value more; an injury or getting swept by the Lakers. I think the injury is not a real value saving move.
If you look at his history, his major injury with GS was when he was playing hurt. A major injury at this point of his career might equal retirement From all accounts he currently has considerable trade value given this year’s performance
While I believe he's injured and age is a factor in that.... the not being at G3 stung. As a fan who wanted this season be special, seeing FVV out (and never even attempting to replace him), then KD being healthy all season just to miss 4/5 playoff games (so far) due to minor injuries is pretty upsetting. We weren't going to win anything this year, we don't have a real reliable PG on the court, so KD and AS responsibilities are too much.... too much double teaming and above 3pt line setup, not enough effective ball movement, halfcourt sets, too many TOs, and unlike last year we don't score a lot in transition. Personally, I'd still like to see this team as constructed next year with just a little tune-up, but not showing during G3 was odd.... and Ime staying as coach is concerning since he seems to have no offensive gameplan, and defense isn't what it was a year ago. We'll see. Hopefully our guys dig deep tonight again, would love to see the series come back to HOU.
This is it. Dude is just stat chasing and wants to be able to do that next year. Hopefully he agrees to a trade that benefits us.
Real injury….happens when you play a 37 year old 37 minutes in meaningless regular season games. They eventually break down. Nothing more, nothing less.
Imagine winning this series without the snake, snake legacy will go way down, from a curry d rider to a segun d rider lol....
The Rox chances of winning game 5 are way up without him, our defense is better, our offense flows better, the team shares the ball and the responsibility making the team harder to guard. We are just better on both ends without KD. DD
Ime cant coach KD because he doesn’t play defense anyway. I wonder if KD even likes Imes style of coaching?
