They can give him the Kuminga deal just to have his salary available for a trade, but I never want to see him wearing a Rockets uniform again.
He was so disappointing tonight. I can't understand it because it was his BEST opportunity to show that he deserved a contract, but instead he looked like he really wasn't that interested.
Even if Eason had a good year, if the result would still be a 1st Round exit, he might be better off on a Contender.
He made me cry not boxing out tonight. Also think he’s playing hurt. Might explain the depression he’s displaying on the court.
I don’t think anyone on the roster is worth a ******* penny at the moment. I srsly dgaf if he is not back next season. The guy is probably one of the dumbest players in the league. I srsly can’t remember a dumber player than Tari
Tari's career as a Rocket can't end soon enough. I need get this off crazy woman off my timeline. She convinced her son to fumble the bag and now she's crashing out.
Sengun certainly increased his trade value last night. Amen would bring an absolute haul. Nobody in the league is down on Amen like Clutchfans.
Tari can be a really good bench guy. He’s worth a chance at 10m a year or so. If he still thinks he’s going to get more and somebody gives it, so long.
I will always prefer basketball players over athletes who happen to play basketball. Tari is an athlete who happens to play basketball, in my opinion. Terrible feel for the game, can't create, can't pass, can't shoot unless he's planted in the corner like a statue, often looks lost and makes dumb decisions, etc. Move him to a desperate team before it's too late.
They better not let him walk. That would be the dumbest thing to do. Re-sign to a reasonable deal, or in the worst case scenario the QO and move him next season.
In some ways I agree. When he's aggressive, he is very disruptive defensively and can be a very good 3 and D player. Definitely is prone to "why did you do that?" moments but can be a sparkplug off the bench. He showed this year that's his ceiling. Sparkplug.
I expect Stone to sell low as always. Bans anyone from ever saying anything critical about our players in public but then goes and sells low on his assets lol I would re-sign him at the best offer he gets and obviously keep developing him. A little more maturity and polish is easy to achieve. If we’re getting rid of him I’m doing it at the deadline or next summer. This is an idiotic time to let him walk. Good news is that an overpay from another team is probably less likely now. Other teams are not micro focused on him for 4 years or emotional about critical moments in the playoffs. They just see a mishandled asset who can be rehabilitated and developed to be worth $20-30m in the near future like a lot of 3&D players. It’s rare to find a person who can provide all 3: above average wing defense + above average 3PT shooting + huge wingspan. Once you realize this prototype is necessary for any championship and that there are only about 10-15 of them in the NBA, you’ll understand why even after a volatile season he’ll garner value on the market.
