The main difference between those two squads, besides the hustle obviously, is who the head coach was. An offensive minded coach that knew how to get the best out of each player.

 

Don't be fooled. These guys are scrubs. They will get exposed in the next round against an actual team that plays with heart. Any other team in the playoffs in the Western conference would have embarrassed this Laker team. The Rockets have been shaky since the 2nd half of the season.

Ime Udoka and staff is not a good coach. Stone is a shitty GM. And we are stuck with both because the owner is not going to pay them to sit at home.

All the other teams the Rockets were tanking with in that time frame have officially surpassed them including Portland at least they got Deni. Scoot looks to be coming into form. Dallas, San Antonio, Charlotte, Detroit, Orlando All are better going forward than the Rockets
