Maybe a dumb question but why do we have KD bring the ball up or come off a screen above the 3 pt line? Everyone knows he’s trying to get to the elbow. So why not park him in the post and have the PG lob it to him like he’s Sengun or any other back to the basket big. Then he can just rise up and shoot from his spot.

Don't have a good feeling about any of this but I'll be watching tonight nonetheless .

 

Because that would require that Ime actually play a PG. But he decided instead to start Okogie who can't handle the ball and then reduce Reed's role in favor of Tate who can't do anything out there. There were a couple stretches in Game 2 where he had a 5-wing lineup out there. Which pretty much requires either Amen or KD to bring the ball up the floor.

Whether Ime likes it or not, he needs to start Reed and then have Aaron back him up. We need a PG out there for all 48 minutes. I'd even like to see a few minutes of them both out there together. It worked great in that home win over the Heat a month ago.

I'm hoping Sengun bounce back and ball out tonight so we won't trade away our draft picks this summer lol

They're picking him up at halfcourt, face-guarding him if he doesn't have the ball...KD does need to fight harder offball to get to his spots...wondering if we're not playing DFS during game 3 would we give Tate's minutes to JD? We could use a true point guard at certain times during the game to settle our offense.
Either way, Toyota Center will be LIT for game 3
