But of course, those watching the game with their backsides won’t get it. Sengun grabs 5 offensive boards, 4 steals, drops 20 points, yet somehow, he’s the one to blame?. How is someone catching the ball at the top supposed to dominate the paint? IME’s entire game plan is just setting screens to hand Durant the ball over and over. Our bench is a disaster — we’re shooting 3-for-25, hitting just 20% from three, and we always lose against teams shooting 50%. Durant isn’t playing defense at all; LB blew past him multiple times and he didn’t even bother to put a hand up.

 

How can you even hate on KD’s turnovers with how lifeless the rest of the offense is?

At least he’s out there doing something.

That something being: scoring, drawing doubles, creating opportunities for others, [and in a perfect world] making the Lakers pay for making him their defensive focal point.

Instead? We can’t make an open three, blowing layups, turning the ball over, etc

 

I bet you the comets win a chip before us... good thing stone won't be their gm.

 

Im more interested in if a coach can figure out how to communicate to Durant that he’s allowed to stand inside the 3 point line when receiving the basketball.

Or better yet, tell the other players on the team that if the lane is open because one player is getting face guarded at half court, be aggressive and attack.

 

KD probably can't wait to leave the Rockets, lol.

 

Yep. This is why I want Kerr to come here and fix the Rockets coaching mess.

 

It's like we built the perfect collection of players to accentuate each of their respective flaws when they play together.

 

Ya without kd. We don’t get 50 points tonight. Half his turnovers were from easons dumbass not catching the ball, no blame on kd tonight.

Yeah I’d take it but this is probably a pipe dream.

 

I think it's a huge difference, just in lineups alone.

Kerr just with one lineup change made the Warriors a dynasty.

I don't think the Celtics ever win a championship under Ime. They might win series here and there, the East sucks, so it is possible...

For example, Pritchard, Ime did not play him, despite having a good season the previous year, Ime played him SIGNIFICANTLY less...look at the type of player Pritchard is... the guy was shooting 41% from three btw lol...

He also didn't play Nesmith...as we see, Pritchard and Nesmith played a lot better under better coaches.

Also, Derrick White went from a role player to a key player under Mazulla. Sam Hauser also benefitted from the coaching change but he was a rookie so it night not be fair to hold that against Ime.

Still, the difference is night and day. People can ask any Celtic fan, not a single one would take Ime back or say that the coaching change made no difference.

 

Wutdafah... The line for the next game is -9.5 for the Rockets. Someone put me down for $100 on that.

 

Laravia is the only reason this wasn’t a blowout. I wish they would play that scrub more.

The coaching staff are probably rock bottom. You srsly can’t win with ime and his staff. The rockets having a winning record with Reed starting, yet he resorts to starting okogie and playing him major minutes. We have said this so many times, but how can someone from the organization look at tonight and say that ime knows what he is doing? The guy is ****ing cluelesss. For **** sake can someone save this organization?

 

I’m hoping we can sign Kerr to play because at least that mother falcon can put the ball in the bucket. Coach is the least of my worries

 

Why would you bench your best shooter? Reed misses two shots and immediately gets benched?

 

Last year’s healthy team, yeah. The Warriors were a better team than these Lakers.

Feels like last seasons team were aggressors, always hungry. This season’s team just accept the energy - playing down to opponents very often.

Not a matter of better/worse, but we just didn’t have problems with non-contenders last season.

 

I know it’s heat of the moment, but I’m completely disillusioned with the team right now
