True that, but I wonder if we would be better off if we stuck with what we had? I mean, this team did get to the playoffs. Cato, Weatherspoon, and Mobley's contracts have a year remaining on each of them. That would have been some nice cap space.

Keep it up . . .but #3 is doing his part
So . . We have a healthy Yao and T-mac
yet we don't look as good as last year

We can scream it is the role players all we want
    but the trade Changed that
we can NEVER say T-mac and Francis comparisons
    str8 up

ROCKET MANAGEMENT traded 3/5 or out team
    for T-mac and . .. etc

Weisbrod is looking like a good manager now

The question is: Could Hill Mesh as well with T-Mac?
or worse. . .Why is T-mac's meshing with Yao
    not so good

Our 7'6 franchise player can't rebound, establish position and score consistently. He wasn't very good at it with Francis either.

Don't forget that he can't play defense or block shots or hold onto the ball.....

Isn't that why we brought in TMac to be the Franchise player? Someone needs to tell Gundy that....

Same thing I have been begining to think. I mean, I was satisfied at the end of last season. The Playoff run (short as it was) was still very entertaining. I just don't have much love for this team yet. I'll still watch every game I can etc. Hopefully they will turn it around.

I think it's McGrady, based on his previous comments, that needs to be told that. He wanted to go to Houston to play second fiddle to Yao -- he knew that was the arrangment, and that's how he wanted it. He wiltered in Orlando as the franchise player, sort of like Scottie Pippen did elsewhere, and I just don't think he's cut out for it.

Yao needs to step up and do his part; that would, in turn, make McGrady look better. It's partially coaching and partially Yao's play, but it's not the delegation of one or the other as the franchise player.

yea i was pretty satisfied w/ the rockets season last year. And truthfully i thought they were just gonna go out and sign a pf. But then they made the trade for tmac. hopefully everything works out for both the rocs and magics. but it sure does seem like we got the wrong end of the stick.
