T-mac is worse than last year.
Yao is worse than last year.
Howard is worse than last year.
Taylor is worse than last year.
JJ is worse than last year.

Francis is better than last year.

So this is JVG's fault, when will he be fired? after T-mac threatening to retire and Yao demanding a trade?

The post is so simple, yet so telling!:D

Btw, you forgot to point out that Cato's better too. I saw him score from OUTSIDE the paint the other day! ;)

BTW, foget Phil Jackson, he won't come.
Rockets as a team is too young for him.

Can we not talk about Francis or Mobley or Cato. Geez, Francis was horrible last year, and not much better the year before.

A team with no passion, no fire, no desire, no heart is no fun to watch.

Hopefully you could feel my pain.

I think the Problem with Some teams in the NBA these days is that they don't show loyalty towards there own players. Like a child a team sees something and goes after it, neglecting there own family, and abandoning the years of hard work and Built up team chemistry..just so they can get what they see, only to realise that it is a mirage. So, may the trade be a lesson learned to the rest of the NBA. ( Not that Chicago Bulls have not been one for the past many years with all there trades, BTW, I live in Chicago) The lesson is this: Have loyalty towards your players and thank every good thing they have brought you, cause In the end your team is the team that has been through the most and is still together till the end.

Great post man..it seems like people would have learned from last year's finals that chemistry and friendship among teammates will win out over these little "superstar" teams. The Rockets are seeing what the Lakers saw last year, that it doesn't matter how many superstars you have if the rest of your team is thin as air. Nobody wants to give teams a chance anymore. It's all about winning and winning NOW, and most of the time that never happens.
(ex. see 03-04 Lakers, 98-99 Rockets)

Francis is enjoying playing in the East (and not having Cat out there hawging the ball and jacking up 3's)

oh yeah. ... lets see how much he likes it when Hill makes a mis-step and is gone.

Grant Hill is the driving force behind that team - if any of you alleged SF3-levers would get the league pass you could watch some games and understand how much Hill is affecting the team

Let's see how the Rockets like it when TMac's back wretches up on him and he's gone.

Let's see how Yao suffers from the same foot problems that seemingly afflict most big men and is gone.

Let's see....no, let's don't see. Quit maiing excuses for what is happening with the Magic and why Grant Hill should go down. The one good story in the NBA this year, and all some of you want to do is bring the man down. Sheesh.

Not this horrible. The media gave him a bad rap. He at least played with passion; Yao appears to labor to drag his butt of the bench if he's actually put in the game in the second half.:(

I've got the League Pass and I watch all of the Orlando games. Hill was a superstar, so it comes to little surprise that he still has game. Bottom line is that the Magic have a better team right now. They have players coming off the bench to contribute in Turkoglu, Garrity, Nelson, and Battie. Very solid role players. I bet you watch the games just hoping they will lose, so you can come back on this board and say how much better the Rockets are without Francis, Mobley, and Cato.

How is Yao necessarily worse this season? Did you even do statistical comparism or you just like speaking from anus?

Every scientist out there will be very proud of you and how you arrived at your theory and causative

    Yao's stats from last season:

    http://www.sportsline.com/nba/players/player/gamelogs/2003/307933

Yao is doing worse in rebounding than last season. Yao had lower PPG but was more consistent last year.

Yao didn't score less than 10pts until Dec 11 in last season. This year he has done it several times already.

Van Grumpy has destroyed Yao Ming mentally and physically.

some of u here just hate Francis so much tat u guys just doesn't wants to admit that he is big part of wat Magic is right now.....

Yes, Hill is in fact amazing.... but it is both Francis & Hill that gave Magic a 8-4 record.... they need to have both of them in order to win.... plus, it was Francis that won them the game against Hawks and Sixers

the point is that most people like you said he sucked, couldnt run a fast break, was a loser, selfish bollhog, low basketball I Q,and was a joke.I have leauge pass and he still makes alot of turnovers, but he makes a diffrnece like it or not.what if francis got hurt do you really think grant hill would be able to carry all of the slack?Iam glad the man has a great teammate in grant hill.they are helping each other win right now.
