Can you explain to me why our government leaders care more about Israel than they do America and Americans?

with respect, that question is simply a red herring. The official policy of Iran has been to act in such a way as to bring the "death of Israel," that's just a fact. To further that end they have funded virtually every terrorist group in the middle east up to and including Hamas.

"Death of a civilization" rhetoric isn't something that's new or unique. I'm not defending such rhetoric; I'm just saying it's nothing new or unique.

Not really giving me a ton of hope for a TACO that I predicted earlier today but instead a “split the baby” with the military placating by letting the lawyers pick targets they think they can cook up a legal pretzel to tie themselves up in to evade any legal recourse in the future.

So sounds like there will be bombs tonight and some bridges blown up and maybe a power plant or two disabled but not a giant nuclear event that wipes out half the population like Trump is inferring.

Which I think is dangerous still because this regime is just going to keep turning up the dial more and more and we all know lawyers at the pentagon can be replaced by more Trump friendly lawyers and this type of action will just be ratcheted up.

This morning I thought it was like 90% he’d taco. Now I think it’s like 30% he taco’s… mostly because I expected something before the stock market closed and that didn’t happen. Without the ability to cash in on market manipulation he is much less likely to taco.

If it’s not rhetoric that’s new or unique why is it suddenly worth going into a major war with in a country of 90 million people and one that can shut off one of the most important shipping channels in the world?

North Korea has death to America chants all the time. It’s a major part of their regime propaganda greatest hits. So why aren’t you making a case at going to war with North Korea as well??

I think we can both agree that protecting America is a higher American priority that protecting Israel. Not that we shouldn’t protect countries that can’t defend themselves (they can and we also do defend Israel) when there are credible plans to attack, but going to war with a country and threatening genocide and war crimes because they have anti American or anti Israeli propaganda is a completely different ballpark.

I know you feel like you have to defend Trump on everything because your life’s ambition is to try and troll liberals online, but your attempts to come on today and play the contrarian on this evil nonsense is a new low for a clown like you.

I hope the ceasefire can lead to a peaceful resolution. The tricky thing will be whether there is a leader in Iran unite the civilian government, military, and the IRGC to all adhere to the ceasefire.

It will only take one commander to lob a missile to end the ceasefire.

and while I am composing my post, missiles are detected launching from Iran to Israel...

hopefully it's like the 12 day war where both Iran and Israel taper off the attacks within a day or two after the 'ceasefire'.
