Espada mismanaged this game. Should’ve pinch hit Matthews for Loperfido against that tough lefty then should have pulled Blubaugh at first sign of trouble when the game was tied and he’d already given 1.2 innings. Bullpen is fresh and about to get another fresh arm after this game. No sense to try to stretch Blubaugh when he clearly didn’t have it.
