Steph said he believed no one ever landed on the moon/it was a fake landing. Most people would get raked through the coals for that (especially then) but no one cared. He had to visit NASA but that was about it. And Steph was correct, we didnt lol.
All I have to say is that if Meta World Peace, Rainbow Man Rodman, and Medicine Man Irving can be given fourth and fifth chances, then Ivey gets one too.
I think it is his issues and depression talking though, I mean we can all get mad at him but in reality he became slave to his mental issues.
Would be a welcome addition to this mish mash of a squad. Ime, Dickerson, and Jaden Ivy all in one lockerroom together? Reality TV that's worth paying for.
I mean...yeah. If Ivey played like Anthony Edwards he wouldve been made to issue an apology and cut the ribbon at Pride Night.
He ain't wrong that the NBA is hypocritical, but I more take that to mean the NBA should do better than that he should get a hall pass to drop slurs
It's funny how some anti social fans want this dude with the team cuz they're losers in real life. Anyone who thinks this behavior is okay is a incel loser in real life
I was about to post this same thing. It doesn't matter what his belief is, he can be handing everyone a $100 bill for world peace. He's just a judgmental pushy douche lord. His own wife & family not supporting him very much indicates "insufferable toxic" effect on others. To add, the Chicago Tribune writer covering the Bulls is queer. I mentioned earlier that there can be REAL lgbtq people directly involved with the organization that his comment affects, not some distant unseen "thing out there". That's the entire point of extending basic courtesy to people's existence (The writer thankfully didn't take great offense to it. She's more disappointed in their GM not doing enough background checks on acquisitions). https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/column-jaden-ivey-debacle-another-170900039.html
Couple things. It is not "The NBA" league administration that punished Ivey. It was The Bulls being 1 employer, out of the 30 various team employers. Bulls can have their own different standards from other teams. Players union matters aside, there doesn't have to be 100% uniformity to all the team employers. Then it's always forgetting that religion itself is NOT A POLITICAL party. It doesn't matter how much 1 side claims dominion on religion. Religion is for everyone. Both Republicans and Democrats have many practicing Christians. Meaning a Dem Christian has as much right to follow Christ in their interpretation of the Word, as a Republican Christian. And therefore a Dem Christian has the same religious grounds to have opinion on this
The league doesn't have a problem with behaviour thou, there are tons of bad behavior from taking political stances to racism to avid strip bar enthusiasts to domestic violence and ect and they all still hooping... This case different thou I guess..
