I believe the problem is not the posters, but the news sources they trust. The news they choose tends to be heavily curated to the story they would like to tell about the world.

I bet you can spend all day watching Fox, OAN and Newsmax and browsing The Daily Caller and never realize this event occured.

There's an app caller Ground News that Ive flirted with. They break down reporting by left, center, and right wing. Not specifically recomending the app, but its amazing how often stories get absolute blanket coverage on one extreme, and reasonable coverage from the centrists, but the stories are completely absent from the extremes that find it uncomfortable.

My personal experience from what I've seen in the app is that it is worse on the right, but the left is by no means immune.

We need to bring back the fairness doctrine. Genuinely I pinpoint Reagan killing it as the point when our media landscape started to fracture.

The POTUS was bragging about killing Iranians just days ago. I mean, literally bragging about it.

And there's barely a word of it in the media.

I almost feel sorry for this kid for surviving. The world we live in is ****ing nuts.

Yes, there are some ****ed up aspects of all major religions. That doesn't mean it's okay to make it your life's mission to hate or kill people that aren't like you. You would think most people by now would know better, and have better things to do with their lives, but noooo.

How things can change so quick. If you took the 16 year old me who just watched Schindler’s List and Band of Brothers a few years later and then showed him 2026 Israel I think I would have been in disbelief.

I guess that’s why they call it the cycle of violence. This world is ugly man. What do we have to do to find some peace and harmony for a little while??

And all the violence and disharmony seems to come when it’s really not necessary. I mean why now?? It can’t all be because of Covid, or technology, or social media… like this fcking sucks. Sadly getting rid of Trump isn’t going to end whatever cycle of violence, hatred, and ugliness we are currently in.

 

this is peak delusion. There were 4 muslim terrorist attacks a couple weeks ago , all connected by the same ideology, and CNN ignored the ideology of the attacker each time. when homemade bombs were thrown at a crowd of peaceful protestors in new york, the muslim mayor stated the race of the protestors in order to demonize whites but did not talk about the race or ideology of those who made the bombs. He did not mention they wanted it to be bigger than the boston bombing, of the same ideology.

It's those who are well informed who know that islam just doesn't work in the west. We see endless examples of them attempting to kill not targeted people, but non muslims in MASS settings to cater to their delusions. If you truly cared, look at what's happened in the last 10-20 years alone

And that doesn't include frequent kidnapping. If you take every other ideology or "race" and add them up, it comes to way less than 1/100th of 1%. You want to whine about free speech in America, but you only have it because it's a Christian nation. They're not the ones committing Berlin Christmas attacks or Charlie Hebdo because of speech against their made up ideology.
