Sort of off topic. Why are player promoters of NFL draft players suddenly using metric weights when describing them. I just listened to the third player prospect described with English height and metric weight. It's trending. 6'3" and 157 kilos? Is it a CONSPIRACY by High School math teachers?
LMAO, this is another example of God'ells trying to take the NFL global. He could care less about football fans in the USA
https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2026/...even-rounds-257-picks-projections-matt-miller would be an insane draft if true
- 22 career penalties - Has allowed 79 career pressures (did have his best season by allowing just 14 of them in 2025) - Inconsistent pad level Draft projection: Day 2
In this mock I took the position that I would go after the best offensive talent available at the top of the draft and then go after defensive depth pieces. What do you think?
At DT, I would take Woods or McDonald at 28 or 38. If they are not there or if the Texans go another direction, then I would not look at DT until the 4th round. There's not a scheme fit DT that I would take on Day 2 with the exception of Woods and McDonald. Early Day 3, I would look at Rayshaun Benny, Chris McClellan, Kaleb Proctor and Tyler Onyedim. The Texans have a top 30 visit with Tyler Onyedim from Texas A&M coming up who is a great fit. Late Day 3, there will be Clayton Patterson, Aaron Graves, Anterio Thompson, Cam Rice, Daryl Peterson, and Jeff M'Ba. The Texans and going back to the 49ers defense have used highly athletic DT that can shoot the gaps and put quick pressure on the QB There's going to be a lot of talk about DT in the middle of the draft such as DeMonte Capeheart, Gracen Helton, Landon Robinson, Dominique Orange, Dontay Corleone, Tim Keenan, etc who have power, but either lack speed or agility and just are not fits for how the Texans play defense.
Take a look at Zxavian Harris/6'8" 330/34 5/8 arms. Dude blocked 6 kicks in college and could fit in DT rotation and on ST. He's had some off-field issues, but has rare size that could elevate our interior run defense. https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Zxavian-Harris-DT-OleMiss Could be a late 4th through 6th round pick.
Zxavian was very productive. He just had foot surgery which is currently in a cast. You have to be careful with big bodied players who have problems with their feet.
I wouldn't mind grabbing DE Derrick Moore out of Michigan for quality depth and possible replacement in 27' for Danielle Hunter.
I think a pod caster who told CJ his unborn child wanted a jersey. I saw a clip of CJ joking with him about HIM wanting a Jersey and eventually saying he'd get both of them Jerseys. But I have no idea how I stumbled across the clip.
I've read several articles talking about Dontay Corleone injury history. In addition to the ankle procedure, he has dealt with blood clots. In fact, he has the same issue that ended Chris Bosh's career. Most teams have removed Dontay from their draft boards.
