Yao losing the ball on the last possession is why you don't go into the post on the last play especially on the road. Refs will never side with the road team on a play in the paint.

BTW, the Vegas line for this game is Kings -6.

We can't expect to win if our 4's score only 8 points combined.
Yao and T-Mac made mistakes but they did a good job overall.

Kings have such good shooters. I'd sure like the Rockets to emulate what the Kings do to develop such shooters.

Cannot ask a much better performance from the Rockets. We can beat most teams on the road with this kind of performance. Nothing really to be ashamed of.

Good games for both Yao and Tmac. Lue and AB get thumbs up, and Mo gets my praise for his D on Webber and his work on the boards.

Look at who led the Kings in rebounding. Bibby and Bobby Jackson were the top two rebounders which meant a lot of the shots were of the long range variety which results in long caroms.

when you don't have a single PF on the team that can rebound consistently, you can't expect the rockets to out rebound any team in the league. JJ and tmac can only do so much in the rebouding department. yeah... moT got 10 tonight but he was lucky...

Good effort tonight, the team is really starting to gell, and Andre Barrett looks like a VERY solid backup PG.

We lost this one on the Sacs getting more offensive rebounds and us turning the ball over 8 x more than them - gave them 16 more FGA's and let them stay in the game.

    Officiating still sucks.

Rockets 53% FG, 47% 3ptrs, 20 assists to 15 turnovers, 14-16 FT line. Normally those numbers would be good enough for us to win! Yet tonight we lose. That 13-5 offensive rebound advantage is killing us.

Who cares that we held them to 46% FGs when they are getting 15 more shots than us!

Until the Rockets can do better on the boards the Rockets FG% defense wont mean spit. This team HAS to rebound!

On the flip side, Yao with 29pts and McGrady with 25pts. Imagine if we could add one more quality scorer into the mix.

Happy to see Lue at PG. He has clearly outplayed Ward and I feel Lue should continue to start until Sura is fully healthy and ready to take that position.

This was another tough loss against a very tough team on the road.

Offensively, we are doing very good, but we lost the game at defensive end. Shooting 52% and 96 points on the road for a Rockets team, we can't ask for more. But 101 for the Kings, we can't win like that. I don't quite understand our defensive schema in the fourth quarter. JVG had Yao running like crazy around the premieter, I don't know why. All I can see is that Yao's dead tired, and the paint was open. Maybe he wanted to protect Yao from another faul? No idea.

I wasnt able to see the game but glad to hear AB played well. The fact he hit his 3ptrs is huge. That's what killed us with Ward.
Lue+Barrett were 5-5 on 3ptrs at the PG spot!
