Boki leading lead in 3 point percentage

    FG FGA PCT
    Nachbar, Hou. 8 13 .615
    Billips, Det. 18 31 .581
    Allen, Sea. 31 55 .564

Ok, he's only taken 13 shots, but its hard to get a rhythm as a shooter with limited shots.

But he didn't get play time :( . My theory, Bowen will reduce opponent score by 1 but Nachbar will increase our score by 3.

Van Grumpy will take a good offensive player like Boki and destroy him physically and mentally.

We have a **** for a coach.

He still isn't THAT great on the defensive end. He's prone to letting guys just blow right by him. The one thing I like though is the fact that he doesn't give up. On a fast break in the Knicks game, the Knicks rookie was going up for an easy layup, but rather than just let him have it, Bokie came from behind and blocked it... though there was a foul called.

It's that kind of energy that we need. Someone who's willing to give a hard foul, willing to tear a guys jersey into shreds. His 3 pointer has been right on, and considering he's the only player other than McGrady that has been able to hit, he should be out there 20 mins a night.

That tends to be a recurring theme with Boki's defense...

If Boki is allowed to get into his rhythm, his percentage will plummet. JVG knows what he is doing. ;) :p

Boki needs more shots when he is in the game. The teammates just don't let him shoot. The only shot Boki got last game vs the Knicks was when Howard got stuck in the paint, and was forced to throw it to Boki........you could see the disappointment in Howard's eyes about giving up a shot. :D

Boki should be starting at the 3. Bring JJ off the bench to stabilize the 2nd unit. JJs shooting has been off this year. Boki will can that open look when TMac drives and dishes it out after drawing the double defender. Boki also does a great job playing the 2 man game with Yao.

Don't put Howard and Lue on the court with Boki. Passing to Boki is the last option in their play book

This is a contract year for Nachbar, and I am glad that he is playing well. We probably should have picked up his option because I think he can play if given enough time.

Nachbar is a streak player kinda like Sprewell and he probably will always be that way. Hes gotta have minutes to get to one of those streaks. For the life of me, I do not understand why he is not getting minutes.

Either that or because he fouls like we are down by 1 with less than 24 seconds to go. The only guy on the team that commits more fouls per minute is Padgett, but that is by virtue of only playing 5 minutes per game. Boki has almost as many fouls per game as guys that play over twice the minutes.

hey but he's good at drawing charges. I can't make up my mind about his defense, sometimes he defends really well and contests a shot, other times he picks up dumb ass reach in fouls. Mostly its the latter, but it's good to know at least he can flops a bit.

This reminds me of the old joke, which goes something like this: I'm the player with the highest shooting percentage in the NBA history. I played one minute in my NBA career, had one shot and made it.
