Add weak dribbling & handles, bad passing, turnover prone to it. Without adequate spacing, those added deficiencies just torpedos the offense

The Rockets are a great defense that makes offenses look bad themselves. Yet other teams O still look 5 times cleaner just swinging the ball around and shooting decisively just 0.2 tenths crisper

I agree with this but Jabari has actually been playing well recently

He’s a guy if you bench he probably won’t ever recover

stick Reed to the bench and give him more minutes early into the 1st especially

It's hard to say. But we can definitively say that they aren't worse when he starts. There's no reason not to start him if his development remains a primary goal for the team.

Bring Amen off the bench where he can be the super sub for Sengun, Jabari, Durant or Tari.

    Reed - Holiday - Davison - Fred
(Someone better than Okogie) - Okogie - Newton
    Tari - Amen - Crawford
    Durant - Jabari - Tate - DFS - Green
    Sengun - Adams - Capela

Didn’t replace Jalen. Just because Kevin replaced his 20 points doesn’t mean he replaced Jalen. They need a starting guard not named Okogie or Amen.
Amen/Sengun problem - gotta choose one
Durant & Jabari are both fours. Don’t want them guarding up(centers) or down(twos & threes).

Join the modern game. Modernize the roster/starting lineup.
Get rid of all the D-first forwards and centers. Get some guards in here.

PG (maybe it’s Reed; definitely not Fred)
    SG
    Tari
    Jabari
    Sengun

Amen is the odd man out playing the Westbrook dunker role.

Why bench Tari? Because he was the 17th pick and not the 4th? Because Amen made all-defensive? Because he might get hurt?

I want Tari & Bari’s shooting, even if they’re lesser defenders.

“Just take him off PG and move him to the dunker spot.”

Still share the same areas of the court. They had to trade Capela to accommodate Westbrook, putting Bob Covington & PJ Tucker at center out at the 3pt line.

    Harden-Gordon-House-Westbrook-Tucker
    Harden-House-Covington-Westbrook-Tucker
    Harden-Gordon-Covington-Westbrook-Tucker
    Harden-Gordon-House-Covington-Tucker

This is untrue. It's very measurable, Reed has serious gravity and Jabari has none according to the two gravity metrics that exist.

It's also observable that teams run Reed off the line while Jabari is a guy they sometimes risk leaving open. That's a big difference.

Spacing is about reputation and respect.

It does not matter if Reed starts or not. He is most effective when KD and Alpi are not playing iso and are focusing on passing the ball, especially when the double teams come. The ball movement was much better against OKC when Alpi avoided ramming into double and triple teams in the paint, and only attacked when the double was not set. That was the old Senhub allstar. Same with KD. He focused on moving the ball more while avoiding double teams. Their teammates got involved in the scoring from many open spots. Reed was a catalyst in the ball movement, so his starting must be predicated on whether the main stars would be willing to pass and move the ball again. Otherwise, he would be relegated to bringing up the ball and handing over to KD, then uselessly camp in the corner again.

Okogie has a slow release. He’s been accurate, but he doesn’t seem to provide spacing.

I was surprised how often OKC tried to treat Tari like Amen.

Not sure I agree with best offenses being with Amen off the court. Sometimes that is the case, but Reed has been killing the offense lately. Amen and Reed were playing well together on offense before Reed tanked. Amen puts a lot of pressure on the 2-3 shooters on the court to perform.

LMMFAO! No. Okogie is the better starter statistically. But one of you bozos will come in here with some goofy ass made up stat so whatever.

They are better when he shoots, and don't think about playmaking, even if he start or comes off the bench. He just needs to stay aggressive and hunt his shots, don't pick up his dribble, and definitely don't pass it. He needs to embrace being that hired gun, that hyper aggressive offensive player.

Then how come we cant beat the Thunder without Shai being out. We only beat the Spurs on a second night of a back to back for them. We could never beat the Mavs with AD only without him. We are not contenders whether he starts or not. I do think he should start and we should trade KD in the offseason and go younger but neither Stone nor Ime are smart enough to do either of those things. We are going to be screwed as a middle team for a decade with these two at the helm. One is ball less and the other cant find a real offense if someone gift wrapped it and gave it to him themselves.
