The numbers may not back this up but glad we didn't get only Donovan for Paredes. Feels like an underpay for Paredes.

Keep him and dangle him at the trade deadline if necessary . No point in trading him for lesser value now. Astros hold the upper hand IMO
That sounds like every fanbase ever. And unless MLB front offices are really, really stupid, fanbases don't get to dictate the terms of any deal. Why are people upset with the Red Sox trying to negotiate the best deal for themselves? Shouldn't every team try to do that?
This quote below is what is funny. It's like they're saying, well they won't trade Paredes to the Red Sox for peanuts so they must still want him... "Though the fact that Houston hasn't pulled the trigger on a deal yet would suggest they want to keep the All-Star third baseman around."
The deal listed on MLBTR is a steal for Boston so I hope it’s not accurate. They are getting Durbin, Monasterio, and a draft pick for Harrison and Drohan, that doesn’t make any sense.
