This is what I am hoping for. Also no need to trade DFS he can he cut after next year.

We still have a couple of months before playoffs hopefully DFS can get his rear in gear by then.

Yes, it isn't just Reed, but he has way too many soft, telegraphed passes. I shudder when he gives up his dribble on the perimeter. Too often it ends up in a slam going the other way.

Despite being 7-foot tall and long, KD isn't too far behind. KD's main problem is it seems like half of his perimeter passes are deflected. That makes no sense at all to me.

Ime is asking REED to completely change his game.

He is a situational scorer, a guy that plays and moves the ball around and picks his spots when he has an advantage.

They are now trying to turn Reed into a SHOOT FIRST guy, a main attraction, and that is something that is not all that easy, it will take Reed a while to become SHOOT FIRST over TEAM FIRST.

Just got to let em play.

Ime does for about 2 seconds after he yells at him. Then he feels bad for hurting his feelings and Amen is back on the next dead ball.

It seems like, Ime made it a point, for the actual pg to bring the ball up the court. That's why I liked JD so much. He brought the ball up the court, made good passes, and played some good defense. I think he had 1 turnover. The times KD or Alpi brought the ball up the court, ended badly, with them dribbling the ball exerting so much energy.

Ime would have let Amen die at the top of the key with his defenders quadruple teaming Sengun in the paint

People forget that Shawn Livingston was not a good 3pt shooter (to my recollection). He was great at middies and driving

The warriors still maximized his strengths and he was a cold blooded killer

We can do the same with Amen, he can hit the middie reliably with more burn

The problem is we don't have enough shooters around him and ask him to do too much

    Be a great PG

Go from a bad shooter to knocking down 3s

Thank you. I won’t complain if there’s hating when they play like ****. But when they show up and have decent to good games it’s definitely not a time to hate lol

I hope the Rockets take this win and use it as stepping stone, to getting back on track. Or is this wishful thinking, like wanting a Resident Evil 9 demo? Lol

Amen has to master mid-range shots. Simple as that. Opponents being able to rest their big man on defense guarding him is unacceptable.

His shots aren't off by much and his FT stroke proves he can hit them. It just doesn't translate for some reason.

maybe. Scoring shouldn’t be so difficult but it seems that way with him in the starting lineup. No teams play this way. Detroit can get away with brothrr Ausar and Duren because Cade is so dynamic and causes so much havoc dribbling and creating mismatches or double teams where he finds shooters. We don’t have a great dynamic point like that.

Was this the Harden days? Our offense was terrible last season. It’s going to continue to be bad as long as we are playing two non shooters significant minutes together.

because it’s not overnight. His range has increased this year but it’s a long road. I would say he will do it by year 5. That’s why I am pushing to trade him unfortunately. He might be an All star by this time but we can’t wait around and waste these years away. Its a gamble and big decision we need to make. I think we trade him for a combo guard borderline star type guy. I would love to have desmond bane. And then you get Giannis and turner in here and you challenge OKC and get that throne.

Having an extra shooter on the floor helps mitigate the KD double team problem.

Durant didn't take a lot of shots today. But when OKC defense forced him to give up the ball, he could actually pass it to someone who could shoot.
