We used to have Cam Thomas but he wanted to go to the Wizards to be bench warmer

 

We don’t have bad players or bad coaching. Udoka makes some questionable decisions sure but our mix of players don’t match and as a whole isn’t as good as the top teams.

 

Good bounce back win, still lotsa issues and the Thunder were without their Top 3 perimeter shot creators.

And it was still close at times.

Can't believe, it is almost All Star Break.

 

The difference was we got solid point guard play. #4 needs more playing time

 

I mean that was an unemployed coach. Who had 5 years of prime Jokic and has won 1 chip. Who buried Peyton Watson, and 2-3 other key contributors who he could never trust. The exact talent that would have won Denver 2 more chips over those 5 prime years.

i rewatched most games last year because the rockets were fun and plucky and would fight a small child in the front row. I was invested in the future. Now im just like thank goodness reed didnt fall on his face.

 

Amen and Sengun need to get extra shooting practice in the gym and develop reliable mid-range and three-point shots, respectively. Also, having Jabari guard wings is not better than dealing with the spacing issues playing Amen and Sengun together provide.

Jabari finally outplayed Chet Holmgren. Stone might finally get props getting him at 3 lol.

 

Without Amen and Sengun sharing so much court time together I dont think its a coincidence that this is our 4th highest scoring game in like a month and Sengun had one of his best games.

Also, instead of the 90s 3p attempts they have been getting up, they got up a much more modern 43 today. They actually shot more threes than their opponent which I think is the first time thats happened this season.

One of Amen or Sengun has to become at least a 30% guy consistently or they simply wont be true contenders, pg or no pg.

 

Yes he does, but I just dont know about that future thing. He can get better and he gave us some great offense today. He picked his spots today, which is a sign of growth. He also opened the court more for other players. I just dont know if he's ever going to get better on D. He played well today for most of the part, but the Thunder looked like us usually, without their pg.
