But we are losing the right way and that all that matters for harden haters. Maybe years later we will win it all the right way and it will b more satisfying
I think the Rockets could make money betting on who is healthier.....seeing that Yannis joined Kalshi.
Yes, a fat Harden is better than a lot of our players offensively. So what? You missed the whole point of why I never wanted him back.
OKC is so ahead of everyone, when other contending teams are yearning for their outdated models from last decades Presti is already trying to find the next SGA.
To make the trade, you need $39m in outgoing salary. What did the Clippers ask for? Really for that deal to work, FVV has to be a part of it, and I think we all know FVV accepting that trade. You aren't giving up KD, Amen or Sengun - the idea is to add James to that. Can't trade Jabari. So, to say "the rockets said no" might not be the whole truth. Maybe Fred said no ....
so you prefer Dribble dribble dribble dribble turnover Dribble dribble dribble dribble brick Dribble dribble dribble dribble trap/errant pass Dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble rushed heave
THANK YOU! Sure, there was a way to make the trade work anyways, but it would have been complicated and likely the Rockets giving up a ton of draft capital. For example, Rockets could of routed Jabari to the Grizzlies to absorb into the trade exception they created and the Rockets could of compensated them with multiple of the unprotected picks they own, but would that have been the smart move??? Hell no. I'm upset that the Rockets stayed put and did not address any deficiencies in the roster, but at the same time, the FO dropped the ball on putting us against the first apron and killing having flexibility to make moves during the season.
I like our chances better with Giannis than Sengun/Jabari. However, I would prefer a regime change: new GM, new coach...this team how the way we play brings back memories of Jeff Van Gundy
Harden would've thrive with Sengun in pick-n-roll situations...however, our inconsistent 3pt shooters would not be optimal for Harden. We could still go after Harden this off-season
FVV missed games 7 of the last 8 seasons: 18, 28, 20, 17, 13, 22, and the entire season it’s crazy and kinda scary that they’re so reliant on and putting so much faith in him
This is my thinking ….. BUT I hope that is the plan and build a good team after . You gonna give up a lot for Giannis . Not going far at all this year and they just play it out I’m assuming that’s the mentality.
This team has not really shown they are a contender or a second round playoff team even all year. We have gone down this path to trade for KD, we need to make moves, we have been fortunate to get a relatively healthy KD year, this is not guaranteed next year or the year after. Any year KD is playing you need to be more aggressive. This passive nature of Stone at this stage is offensive and he needs to be put on a performance improvement plan or shown the door. He has done well below average in drafting and is holding on to these picks as if he thinks he will make the right decisions all of a sudden. The PHX and DAL picks have tanked in value, maybe the Brooklyn swap is worth holding on to, but that is all that looks good today.
Do you know how salaries work? FVV has an implied no trade clause how we getting Harden and his 39M salary here? I dont even know how this story got posted even if Udoka and Stone wanted Harden so what? How he gonna get here?
