I guess since Ime was a bench warmer scrub during his NBA career, it's harder for him to conceptualise that the NBA season is a marathon, not a sprint. Playing harder isn't a competitive advantage in the playoffs because all teams play hard. Thibs would be proud, though.

38 yr old KD. Amen can’t put the ball in the hoop past 5ft. Sengun spends more time crying to the refs than playing D. Plus he’s not improved offensively whatsoever.

 

Sengun-Durant could be another Harden-Dwight all over again.

Well I don't know who said this but I think it's just a vibe thing ultimately.

Like yeah, they dropped bad games last year but it was a lot more tolerable because the team was rebuilding, we went from being a bad team to #2 in the west, so it felt more hopeful. It felt like this was the worst the team was going to be, that the future was bright, that we had a lot to build on.

Now losing these type of games with KD? Well, you can see things around here feel hopeless, all of a sudden we are operating like we are on a 3 year window where before it felt like we were playing with house money.

As for the no PGs thing well yeah, that's what's going on unfortunately. I wouldn't be surprised if we use the buyout market to get another big instead of a PG. Ime doesn't like PGs I guess, I don't know.

I honestly do not think Ime knows what he's doing offensively. The first time I saw one of those KD and 4 non-shooter lineups at that point it hit me that he might actually be clueless on what makes a good offense. Pretty much why I wanted Harden, you just plug the guy in and watch it work.

All of our young players are overrated. All of them have severe flaws. They either can't shoot, can't dribble, can't defend, or a combination of two out of three.

If the playoffs turn out to be a disaster, it's time to retool the whole roster. Stone is not a good GM either, so he needs to go.

Eason wasn't Craig Hodges last year. Sengun shot worse from 3PT than Amen is this season.
