I think the issue is, the Rockets got hit with a perfect storm. Well, almost perfect. Durant season ending injury would have been a perfect storm.
It was clear to me like a month or so ago this team was not winning anything, Adams getting hurt for the year just the cherry on the top there. There really isn't much the team can even do, they can't just pull an all-star out of their hat, a new PG isn't fixing the multiple issues this team has. The only chance they have at getting to the finals is if they get extremely lucky with other teams injuries, otherwise, this is a 2nd round exit team at best.
