When you are dealing with chef Ime McHale, it doesn't really matter if you have second harvest from an Arby's dumpster or the finest ingredients on the planet, the end result will be garbage.

Lonzo Ball is a big playmaking guard that plays defense. He's lost a step and his shot regressed but he would definitely help everyone else get better shots.

If Stone wants to sign someone, which I highly doubt, I am not sure who he will cut to create a roster spot.

Impossible to waive a player and sign someone due to the apron constraints. So there is 1 pro-rated vet-min spot we can offer. If a player clears waivers we can sign them.

I think they will just convert JD Davison to a standard contract, that will fill the 15th spot, and we are stuck from there.

Pointless to waive anyone. Anyone waived cannot really be replaced...
We have a roster spot open, and can fill with 1 vet min level player.

What was potentially a deal he could’ve pulled the trigger on?

Is Moochie still around? Maybe bring Calvin in to play 5-10 mins a game.

Cam Thomas would be horrible lol. Nets, a developing team, dropped him for nothing just because they wanted him off the team and no one would even trade peanuts for him.

I get that scoring is a need, but he's an extremely selfish player and would be in Ime's doghouse immediately lol.

    No he won't.

He is a good passer and a very good defender -- but he is the equivalent of having two centers on the floor from a spacing perspective.

Can you imagine having Ball/Thompson in the backcourt with Sengun and Capela in the front court? The spacing would be all world bad.

The Rockets offense will not work without another high volume three point shooter to stretch the defense with KD to open the inside and middle enough. The problem is that Reed Sheppard doesn't seem to respond well to how Udoka handles him, and the Rockets do little to maximize his abilities. The last month has been horrendous for Sheppard, as he has shot 30% from 3.

I wish we had more than one spot available because we need a guard and a big. The drop off in rebounding has been massive since Adams got injured, and it won’t get better because the frontline of Jabari and Sengun is just too soft. We seen it for years with these two, they are just mediocre.

The offensive rebounding is a big part of our offense and we lost that. Adams also helped Sengun out tremendously by taking some of the bigs attention away. I think that is a large part why Sengun looks so bad now and why we’re playing like the same team before Adams came which was a non-playoff/play-in team. I feel like it’s going to get worse instead of better unless we get another rebounding big, but we also need a guard too so it sucks.
