Don't we have to trade some players to create roster space for buyout candidates?

Punting on a 37 year old Durant season seems odd, but at least we didn't trade the future out of desperation.

Not an exciting list, aside from Cam Thomas, but I question whether the front office or Ime especially would have much interest in him.

Otherwise the best players on it are all hurt or washed.

Knowing this front office we'll probably pick up Plumlee just because he can still rebound the ball

There might be a slim possibility that Lonzo gets his jump shot back and manages to become a useful roleplayer since he's still in his 20s, but he's looked horrible since returning from surgery, and getting back to anything remotely like the same level after a meniscus transplant is basically unprecedented, so who knows if it's even possible.

Seriously? Yall acting like a bunch of poor assholes digging through the Arby's dumpster at midnight hoping you find a couple curly fries to take from the roaches.

No one in the buyout market is going to make a big difference.

Either these guys commit to the defensive side of floor and accept the slow and boring style that Udoka wants - or Udoka opens up the offense and lets the run.

This is a problem that isn't going away either - FVV isn't going to solve the biggest issue, he will make it worse.

The spacing is terrible.... Sengun cannot shoot from the perimeter, Thompson cannot shoot from the perimeter........ Adams and Capela cannot shoot from the perimeter....... and Smith is mediocre at shooting from the perimeter.

The only consistent threat from the perimeter is KD - when the Rockets played better, they had Reed hitting shots and Adams setting screens...... now it is one guy.

It doesn't help that Sengun is a mediocre defender as well, and offers no post resistance and that Sheppard is autistic.

Jalen Green didn’t play defense either before Ime came. If they can get Jalen to play average defense so can Cam. I think it would be a great pickup playing next to Amen.

It has actually been something watching people lower their standards as each PG goes to another team and now we're on the buyout market and again, none of these guys will change the fate of this team

The team is functionally broken, they win games because they have legit talent on the team, but it doesn't really fit well together.

The only hope this team has at doing anything of note in the post season is if Reed suddenly breaks out the 2nd half of the season...and that is extremely unlikely, more likely he hits a 'rookie' wall of sorts.

People need to just accept what this team is this year. 2nd round exit at best. Maybe they get fortunate and play a team whose star player goes out mid series or something I don't know.
