Alperen Sengun calls female ref a '****ing b****' on Women in Sports Day

Sengun's whiny temper got the best of him and he needs to own it and move on. There are plenty of examples of male refs T-ing up players for direct insults.

Also I dont recognize the burning moral imperative to have female refs in the NBA, but I'm hardly philosophically aligned with Adam Silver, I wish success for female athletes, and life goes on!

One of the biggest **** ups was not getting EG off the time as soon as Harden was. Alpi 100% learned this ****ing behaviour from him, it's the same ****ing face, hand position, body language, all of it. I am and will always be an Eric Gordon fan for what he did for the team but ****ing hell if I don't hate that he instilled this in Alpi. It genuinely makes Alpi look like a whiney little b**** himself a lot of the time, which is a far cry from the early years when he was the only one who got upset at the losses during the tank and was desperate for us to do anything to try to win. He's better than that, we've seen it before, but he's leaning into his b****ass side not his badass side.

 

Shoulda said it in Turkish. Was that his first tech? Or did she double tech him for that? A bit steep. I know for a fact I’ve heard worse things from players said to refs that didn’t receive an ejection. Why should a woman be treated differently than a male ref in terms of tolerance for poor language and disrespect?

 

Well he deserved it then, you can't say that, and yes, we know women in his culture are looked down upon.
