Yeah i was so excited with his play when he d looked like he's turned a corner, but he's genuinely less consistent than Jalen. Fool me once...
this was very well said I’m sick and tired of all the excuses for players like Reed Sheppard and Sengun
the only defensive issue I saw was when he got stuck on Nembhard a few times, the rest of his defensive night wasn’t bad I wish the freaking league pass didn’t make we wait three days for games close to my market cause I wanna see if I feel different about all the players, not just Reed, watching live than on tv replay. thanks for sharing your thoughts Will
This kid truly sucks. He has to lead the league in starting 0 for whatever every game. I can't tell you the last time this kid made his first basket before missing his first 5 shots.
he's not an nba player. unfortunately doesn't have the physical tools, and he folds under pressure. it is what it is. trade him while he has any value
currently, probably not too far. But I say we give him till year's end or at least a different coach. When Udoka got booted he let it fly and hit 3 straight 3s. I'm a homer though so I can't say I'm unbiased
It seems like every game I attend the Rockets play like they are ready for a trip to Cancun. My late take aways. Tari is ready to move on. He was visibly shaking his head in disgust, while standing alone in the corner for most of his time on the floor. He was wide open and his teammates ignored him way too many times. Jabari seems to be waiting for the ball to come to him on rebound, it's annoying. He lets the ball come to him instead of getting in the lane or bodying somebody. KD does the exact same thing. Btw, KD looked 40 tonight. Alpi was a decent help defender last year and now he is not helping from the weak side like he did last year. In addition to his poor weakside defense, tonight his 1 on 1 defense, yikes. He let slow ass, no ability, Lukie G, score easily. I never thought I would live to see that bum score 19 points like that. Reed, one word, timid. I think having him as the lead guard with Amen on the bench is one of the dumbest things Ime does over and over. How many times have I said that Amen and Reed should always be on the court at the same time. Amen is super unselfish and a crafty passer, finding open perimeter teammates. Oh yeah, Amen, make your layups ffs. The roster has only 2 player who can penetrate with confidence and beat their man off the dribble, and one of the two is a bench warmer, (JD). That limits what you can do offensively and your opps can clamp down on this at any time causing poor offensive production for long stretches. Lastly, Ime has lost the team, imo. KD and Tari were chirping to one of Ime's suggestions and it caught my attention. It was near the end of the 3rd. It was their body language that was concerning to me. I could be wrong but it's what I'm feeling. Win or lose tomorrow, this team needs another roster shake up. The KD experiment seems to have peaked in early November.
I wouldn't mind trading him for someone fairly young who is cleary better than Reed now, but obviously not at the near superstar starter level some seem to assume he will become.
