Dosunmu is an unrestricted free agent after the season and probably will want a bigger role than what the Rockets could give him. This would likely be a rental. If the Bulls will take Finney-Smith’s contract, they can have a protected first-round pick. If not, second-round picks it is.
Looking at his recent posts, it’s clear he’s not an insider. If the Celtics wanted Dosunmu, they would have made him part of the Vucevic for Simons trade.
We need to continue to add talent. We need to find our Deni. There are a lot of good players switching teams right now.
Why give up a first for a PG averaging fewer than 8 points and 4 assists a game who's a proven injury risk? I don't mind getting Lozo, but let's not overpay for the guy.
Lonzo missed two of the last four entire seasons with injuries. In 7 years, he's averaged 36 missed games a year. He's a decent PG and might be worth a flier, but he's definitely not worth giving away anything of real value.
Dosunmu is a combo guard like Coby White and Collin Sexton. Lonzo Ball is going to get bought out by the Jazz, and the Rockets wouldn’t have to give up anything for him.
One of my friends is a bulls fan, I asked him about Ayo vs White. Here is the short message: Me to him: “What’s your thought on Ayo is he better than Coby white?” My bulls fan friend: “ Probably not for rockets, Don't they need a creator?” “ Ayo is bigger and slower and shoots when open”
The only thing I really find interesting in that screenshot is that you could add Sengun's and Amen's 3 point percentages, and it would barely beat Tari's. That's frightening.
