Ball is a fine depth signing. Maybe the shooting improves the 2nd half. You know u are getting defense and ball-handling at a minimum.

I remain frustrated with all of the dreamcasting around Fred and Steveo’s health and impact for next yr. A 38 yr old KD next yr feels mismatched relative to where our core is in their development. And I really resent going two yrs in a row without a first round pick. We still need to be adding talent. It’s just shortsighted and stupid.

Whoa. If Utah waives him, that could be good. I mean it would be something at least!

Tbh, wouldnt fault Stone on Ball.

The real deal is "Jazz bought 2 second round picks". Meaning Ball is such negative value, Cavs had deal 2 SRP's with Ball just to get rid of him.

Its unknown if the Cavs are even taking back any salary or players. Meaning the Cavs probably don't even want anyone.

Rockets don't have the cap space for Ball's $10 mil without trading players. They'd have to trade Okogie, Tate, Holiday, & Jeff Green to match Ball's salary. Or trade Tari + 2 of those 4 players. Not for 30% shooting Ball

Hahaha people now want Ball? You’ll regret it the minute we sign him.

We sign Ball and we become instant favorites in the West. Heard OKC is trying to block this near certain deal. Isn’t Ball like averaging 21 ppg?

Maybe Mr.Ball can persuade Stone into doing some trades.

He’s 6’5” and averages 1.3 steals and 4 assists in just 20 min. He’s a good defender and he can handle the ball. Really good assist to TO ratio. He hasn’t shot well since coming back from injury, but prior to that he was about a 37/38% 3 pt shooter on high volume. It’s definitely worth nabbing him from the buy-out market. He’s still a better player than JD Davison.

He is shooting 30% from the field this year, he’s not better than Davison or Holiday.

Heard the Rockets are re-signing Daishaun Nix. Apparently a favorite of Stone.

Right… because a slow point guard that can’t shoot and can’t get to the hoop is exactly what the Rockets need. Can’t wait to see the floor spacing with Ball/Amen/Smith/Sengun/Capela out there… that is literally the worst spacing in the modern era of basketball.

That puts a tremendous amount of stress on KD and for Reed (will he see the floor?) to stretch the floor.

I'd rather go after D'Angelo Russell if he gets bought out.
