They're already apologizing for the trades they miss on every season.

Stone traded away his best assets: the Nets picks. This upcoming draft has at least 5 players that would significantly improve us. Hell, if we even kept this years Suns pick we could have drafted Derrik Queen which would have been a big scoring punch off the bench.

The sad look of being "Dazed and Confused"

Some people curl up and hide in a fetal position when they are in a pickle and others go Full Frontal Nudity knowing that you "Never Underestimate The Heart of a Champion" ..... THAT LOOK is very telling

    Go Rockets!!!

If we kept the Nets picks, the Nets wouldn’t be so bad now

I guess Eric Gordon or Kyle Lowry would be low cost.

yes they would. what avenue did they have to make moves? they would have just kept Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson and signed some mid FAs and ended up being the 12th worst team instead of the worst team.

they would have tried to not be bad and they would have failed. Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson aren't doing nothing for nobody. Instead now were going to be stuck with Suns picks that will be 20ish because turns out Devin Booker is a top 15 player.

They would have burnt their cap room on some mediocre players. We had them but Stone let them off the hook.

I swear to god if we come out of this with Conley or CP3 after salary dumping Jeff Green

And then that guy ends up riding the pine in Unc's spot on the bench because he's cooked

    Just lol

So maybe we end up with the 14th pick if we kept Brooklyn's picks instead of the 10th pick in the last draft along with the 27PHX and 29Dallas picks (both of which looked juicy at the time)

Idk. Stone can’t control injuries. Would FVV not improve the PG spot and overall team performance? I do agree with making a move, though. Since we can’t let Tari walk after this season we should try to get something in return now, like a shooter that can knock down the 3. We need someone like Quinten Grimes that can shoot and play D. Then we look to next year when FVV is fully healthy to se what this team can do. That or you trade Tari for a pg like C White to make a run this year. Either way, the Rockets need a PG and shooter, not just a pg.

The front office stands still at the deadline. The players stand flat-footed on offense. I guess it all trickles down from the top.

With FVV and Adams both out for the season I'm not interested in making big moves just to try and salvage the season. In all likelihood, the season is lost. If a move is there to add a young player that can grow with the core I'm for it. If the front office wanted to add someone like Harden just to maximize our chances this season I would have been against it.

I agree with most of the points, but I’m not in favor of trading Tari for White. DFS and a protected 1st and a 2nd round pick is far as I would go.

For some people - it is difficult for them to change. Udoka believes strongly in the backbone of a team being toughness and defense. Both are important, but when that is all a player brings, of when the personnel is a poor fit - a coach needs to adjust. There have been some adjustments by Udoka over the last year and a half. However, he is currently dealing with a team that has very high potential offensively and not so much defensively, he needs to adjust.

As for FVV, he is a poor fit for Sengun and Thompson and even Jabari. He is not a good shooter at this point, and his defense is good - but he cannot create at all, protecting the ball is great but not enough.
