Might as well rest KD for not the rest of the season. No point in risking a serious injury that could linger into next season. The GM keeps kicking the can down the road because he afraid of being exposed as the incompetent fraud he is. Management's has given up on the season.
Clutch should have a contest to see who can predict the random guy we end up with and release the next day.
Different owner, same ****. Different GM, same MO (poor at drafting and looking at small deals where you lose in getting an inferior / bad player but hold on to your assets / save money / etc).
Somewhere in Arizona DB is having an All Star type of Season, I like it! The Arizona a certain Beard Harden still has a home at.
The sad thing is, you are describing FVV from last season and he's supposed to be the savior. Sometimes I think Ime would rather lose with good defense than win with an offense-first strategy (if offense-first happened to help our personnel). He's really hurting his career by not treating offense and defense as equally important.
Stone, the most intelligent man in the room. The man no one in the league will do business with or so it seems. The master negotiator that seems fascinated with paying injured players to heal with player friendly contracts that seem one or sometimes two years too long. The same person that is always looking to improve players by playing them out of position. (KPJ and Amen same thing different name). I see and understand most of the moves made but they seem out of desperation and controlling while he is getting on the job training. The question is does he learn from his mistakes. The problem is the extra time on most of the extended contracts hurt later more than now. Most of the contracts from last offseason were bad but get worse with time. Stone sees and believes in players’ potential over timelines.
Sign me up I was thinking bout renting a billboard and put it outside Toyota center with fire stone we need a gm with bslls lol
What can we get for the Houston Comets? Anyone losing any sleep if we lose them again? Didn't think so. (but also, RIP to the most dominant run of any professional sports franchise in history, ever)
He's gotta slip the Italians a few Euros to apologize for sending ICE goon squads to the Olympics Cash is tight dog
I dont think Stone has been poor at drafting. He's drafted good players and really hasnt taken any big time busts, specifically at the top of the draft. He hasnt been blessed by the ping pong balls, but I still think he got good players. But I was always of the opinion that tanking multiple years in a row was poor strategy and over the course of the nba no team that O can remember has tanked multiple consecutive years and used those picks to draft guys who then led them to a ring. Closest a team got to doing that was OKC. Rockets will not be the exception. Jalen is already gone and I dont see a world where Jabari and Amen are the cornerstones of a championship team.
It’s absolutely insane to me that Stone still operates with the same mindset he had when we were winning 18 games. I’ve never heard of a so called contender willingly being the facilitator to help other teams get better. This dude is a clown and a joke. The only credit I can give him is knowing how to draft between the picks of 10-20. He’s terrible at EVERYTHING else.
