Low cost my ass. We have a couple of fake core players we need to get rid of. We don't have time for this complacency, the players and management both can't have it.
In all seriousness, what team is going to beat the well oiled machine of OKC this year. They are getting a back2back this year because they are an exceptional team. There is no one they can afford to get who is going to change that.
Your thoughts seem logical and highly unlikely. IMO, you probably win at least 5 more games and maybe one series with more guard power and offensive punch, but Stone is at a standstill on our core players. Spencer D. is what we can afford (maybe). And my guess is there is no plan to add another center (unless someone shakes free on a G-League roster).
you’re talking like they’re the KD Warriors or something all their role players start crapping the bed offensively every postseason and it becomes Shai carrying with occasional help from Chet or J-dub the East is a joke, and in the West aside from OKC you have the Nuggets and then the young and inexperienced Spurs The Rockets aren’t even gonna try? They’re just content to be a mid-tier 1st round exit? the Wolves are at least being aggressive trying to get Giannis meanwhile the Rockets are talking about Andre Drummond, the corpse of Mike Conley, or “low cost moves” they could’ve just told the fanbase they wouldn’t even bother to try and be serious about winning after the KD trade and saved us all a good amount of time
I here ya Reeko. If we had FVV and Adams healthy I would say we could take those fools but that ship has sailed. Rockets are hard capped and short of coughing up valuable 1st rnd picks and a bunch of our young blood I don't see any move they can really make to get them over the hump. I don't think they will have the same struggles they had last year so it's going to be more of a challenge to top them. I think the Rockets are going to have to play at each individuals max capacity to get to the Finals and I mean they would have to play fing perfect.
That will play 35 minutes a night at point guard and shoot 30% from 3 but the coaching staff will call him “tough” and “knows how to win” …. While turnovers will go down and offensive rebounds will go up, as we give up 10 points a game less- but score 15 less points a game. I can hear Durant’s knees already buckling from the scoring load in the second half. Maybe Sheppard can score 60 in a G-League game this year.
I can't remember the names of trash players we got last season deadline. Cody Zeller? Stone is good with getting trash players.
