Me, staying up for 48 hours til the deadline to see the Rockets acquire Gary Harris for a third rounder and cash considerations:

They’ll probably get a washed up ball handler or another wing defender on the cheap.

Stone is ready to sign the worst center on the buyout market

How can we not want to get some legit help for Durant? The window is short with him playing at this level. It is beyond obvious we need a guard that can handle and shoot to stretch the floor. Coby White is there - GO GET HIM!!! Use buyout guys to fill backup center and a bench scorer.

Stone tanked for 5 years and the best player he got is 37-year-old KD but somehow he still thinks holding onto all of his draft picks is a good stategy.

Stone sucks, it has been obvious for a while now. He ****ed up 3 out of the 4 drafts, and has failed to do anything of significance at the deadline for 4 years running. He seems petrified to make a deal that might cost him draft assets even though he sucks really bad at the draft.

I don't really want them to do anything crazy, but they have to do something. They aren't good enough and Durant can't play like this forever. If they don't put something else around him to help out, then it truly was an idiotic move to bring him here.

    Low cost move again? Lol

That's the Rockets we know for past decades.

It makes sense that Rockets do not win championship in 30 years.

I wouldn’t make a move either. Were not winning a championship this year realistically. Save the bullets for next year.

Stone signed Adams, Capela, DFS, and FVV to a total of $58mil aka 37% of the NBA salary cap this offseason, put the Rockets in the luxury tax and within a million dollars of the apron. Can't trade the biggest contract of the bunch because Stone gave him an implicit no trade clause. And even despite all this the Rockets currently have the 4th best net rating in the league because Kevin Durant somehow decided he wanted to play here. Now imagine if Stone made even "average" decisions this past offseason, and we would be talking about this deadline on how to take the swing to overtake OKC rather than finding a guy who can competently dribble and pass

Rockets believe Fred will lead us to win championship next season.

They believe Fred will be fully recovered from severe injury.

    Lol
