lmao people really be talking like any of these dudes are gonna help or make a difference it’s like being hungry and somebody offering you some of the dog sh*t they got lying in the backyard…that ain’t food, but CF will act like it is because there’s a scrub addiction on here
As long as Conley can play a few minutes and set the table, without having to give up assets, then heck yeah. It would be a buyout minimum and prorated veteran pickup, without giving up any current assets. Keep your powder dry for real assets.
David Wesley was actually pretty serviceable. Was probably the best perimeter defender at the pg position I ever seen in Houston. Our season changed dramatically once we traded for him.
Maybe. Still, we are basically hard capped, all we got is scraps left. At this point, Conley is the best scrap left.
Conley would be a nice veteran addition, but if that's the only move they make it's not going to do much.
There are plenty of real assets available. You just needs stones to go get them, it is unfortunate that the only stone Rafael has was his dad's last name.
What a bunch of losers on this site wanting a 38 year old scrub. Really??????? He ain’t taking us to the promiseland people!!!
Is Conley retiring soon? Does he believe different than the general NBA fan base in how much left in the tank. If he takes the path of a Jeff Green, who seems to be content with mentoring from the bench, I can see Utah or Memphis offering a spot for the Vet feel good vibes role. 18 years in the league, he had a good run.
Mike Conley is old - and washed. There is a reason no one wants him - or Chris Paul. Nothing positive comes out of adding him. Coby White isn’t a good NBA player. He is a terrible defender and puts up numbers on a bad team. There is no white knight coming from outside the organization. The Rockets have $58,000,000 this year tied up in two centers (one injured and one nearly toast) and an injured wing and injured point guard. Udoka can either double down on JVG ball or he can look at his roster and let guys like Sheppard and Thompson run the floor. The Rockets made the decision to roll with FV, Adams, Capela and FS over sole cap flexibility and adding perimeter ball handlers. That decision was made by both Stone and Udoka. Now they need to adjust or lose in the first round of the playoffs.
of the 6 or 7 Chicago guards, I’m only interested in Tre Jones. He outplayed Amen Thomas, who is supposedly top-5 NBA player, according to this website here….
None of this three. If we were to make a move, we should make a significant action that move the needle (trade FVV/Sheppard for starting caliber PG). Otherwise, stick with the existing growing players for next season. With Steven Adam injury, Môre relevant is to Trade for a center which will enable rockets to sustain its strong Point in rebounding and second chance point.
