I’m pretty sure they have inquired about Ayo. I don’t think Chicago would be interested in moving him.

How do we have absolutely no trade rumors? So does that mean we are actually making a trade this year?

I think having Ime Udoka as a coach really puts a cap on any trades as he is too slow to make full use of the roster. The fact that Capela was balling out and plays less than 20 mins just shows this. Whats the point of getting guys like Keon Ellis or Krejci our own guys like Reed and Capela cant even find minutes.

The roster is already set at this point we just need to punt and wait next year when FVV and Adams are healthy or can be traded.

Most potential trades right now are smaller dominoes waiting on the big Giannis domino to fall. It seems like the Bucks are pretty serious about dealing him now and there's a bidding war going on. So I'm expecting if we make a move, it will likely be after that happens

I agree. Will he land in GSW or LA?

A buyout is the only move that I anticipate.

Just for fun, before the Segunatics go crazy. I don’t really want to do this.

So, the Lakers get Giannis for Reaves and a bunch of deadweight?

    Hell to the naw.

There’s some reaaaaaaally bad Sengun trades in here. No offense.

Again, just spitballing for fun. LA doesn’t have the draft picks to make it happen anyway, I was just playing around with the trade machine, although the Rockets return would make us super competitive this year. I do think the league would love to get Giannis to LA or GSW, so nothing would surprise me after the Luka debacle.

I get that and I’m not trying to be overly critical.

I’m just sick of the Lakers getting top 10 players whenever they want them. So many examples (Gasol, Dwight, LeBron, AD, Luka). With Giannis it would be top 5 players in back-to-back seasons. I’m over it.

If/when the Coby White (or anything better) negotiations fall through:

DFS + two SRP’s for Jaden Ivey

Recruit a third team, if necessary. One that could use DFS (maybe LA) and has expiring contracts.

He’s athletic and can score. Good shooter. Badly needs a change of scenery.

Most of you will vomit and KD won’t allow it:

Draymond and Post for DFS and Adams

There is a bigger issue if KD has the power to veto.

Why would GSW do it, even if we could stomach it?

Rockets in: Jose Alvarado and Jay Huff
Bulls In: Benedict Mathurin, DFS, 2- HOU 2nd Rounders and NOLA 2nd Rounder
    Pacers In: Coby White
Pelicans In: Ayo Dosunmu and Jeff Green

Rockets give up 2 second rounders to get off DFS but pick up a backup PG and C
Bulls pick up 3 second rounders and young SG
Pacers have interest in Coby White per rumors
New Orleans pick up a PG/SG to pair with Fears.

    Is that cost low enough?

Austin Reaves would be terrible here. Dude gets the benefit of LA whistle. Houston gets no calls. It’s be like having Jalen green again.

Would y’all trade for Dejounte Murray this off-season? I know he ruptured his Achilles but not sure if Nola would trade for cheap to get off contract. He’d come off books with KD

I believe FVV + Capella + picks works. Would FVV accept if he knew he was getting bought out? Reed, DFS, and Adams also works

I don't think you realize how good Austin Reaves is now. He was better than Jalen Green three years ago, and has improved since then to an unbelievable degree. They aren't in the same universe as players.

Reaves has basically been Luka with 10% less volume but superior efficiency this season from every level. Reaves is arguably a top 10 offensive player in the NBA at the moment. His peers are like the Brunson/Maxey/Mitchell/Murray level guys.

IMO he's our #1 target this offseason, among players that actually have a chance of being acquirable.
