We had another amazing turnout for a large peaceful protest yesterday in Minneapolis. It wasn’t as cold but still about 7 F at 2pm. Also an amazing concert by Tom Morrello, Rise Against and special guest Bruce Springsteen at First Ave. I didn’t go to the show as I was getting ready getting coffee and hand warmers to hand out at the protest but had friends who did. For any music fans should check out he videos on YouTube.

I saw that there are protests around the country and several in Texas. Want to thank those who are protesting over what is happening here in Minnesota. It is appreciated by the people of this state.

Things are still tense and Tom Homans statements aren’t doing much to calm things down. Right now it’s wait and see.

One thing to note is the argument that the state hasn’t been cooperating with the federal government and just allowing immigrants who commit crimes to run free isn’t true the MN Department of Corrections has for decades been cooperating with federal
Authorities and tells them when they are holding criminals who also are here illegally. When they serve their prison terms they are released to ICE. When Kristi Noem held up a list of the “worst of the worst” all of those were people who had been in Minnesota prisons and handed over to ICE. ICE didn’t catch them in the Metro Surge. The MN Department of Corrections has set up a website to counter the claims made by DHS. ICE has been forced to release many of those they catch because they are legal immigrants, US citizens and doing so without proper warrants.

It feels as if the far left is far far bigger in size.

Moderates have been alienated as conservatives and despite solid principles that haven’t changed much since the 2000’s… they have slowly been left behind as the democrats line keeps shifting further and further left.
