We did, as well as Buffalo, this should've been Josh Allen's year, but I digress...Too many mistakes, QB, O-line, etc...ugh...

Likely, there will never be a clearer path to a SB. That is why fans are so upset. Some of us have waited for decades. It is hard to express what we were feeling as CJ just threw the game away. It was like a football abomination, the unforgivable sin. Personally, I don't think CJ should still be here next season, and I am not alone. And I am OK with him taking Caserio with him. Caley can ride along too. You just don't waste a generational defense.

Furthermore, here is something that we all need to understand. The team, the entire Houston Texans organization are ALL employees. AND, if they are released, the NFL is one big family, which means they will all get jobs elsewhere. Therefore, they may work for several NFL teams during their lifetime. This means that loyalty either does not exist or is at least portable. It is the fans that really care, and they are the customers who spend money on tickets and buy stuff. The owners would obviously like their team to do well, because they make more money. However, with all the TV contracts they make money anyway. SO, who gets the short end of the stick in this arrangement? Guess.

For the 100th time, CJ didn't lose that game alone. 4 INTs didn't lose that game when only ONE of those led to points. What lost that game was the failure to address the O-line/RB situation, TE depth, and WR depth. Also, playcalling and game plan in freezing rain was absolutely DUMB. CJ didn't play well, but the loss was not all his alone to bear.

I fully understand that the NFL is a "team" game, like most sports in general. But that was the most careless, disjointed, and incomprehensible QB performance I have ever seen at any level. It was so bad that some thought he did it on purpose. I have always liked CJ. He seems like a fine young man, etc., etc. BUT when you make millions, the expectations are high. As was pointed out, he could have thrown the ball into the ground after every snap and had a higher QB rating. I do think he needs a thorough medical evaluation. There may be residual effects from the concussions.

Caserio pointed out in the playoffs you cant turn the ball over 5 times and expect to win. He was spot on. This was al so predictable after watching CJ play the previous 3 games.

BTW, CJ has the ability to check out of any play he doesn't like and rumor has it that CJ checked into the play that resulted into the int for a TD.

But that didn't change the game situation. With that first half, if Woody doesn't fumble in the 3rd...and the Texans score a TD...it is a 2 point game with a 2 point try on the way.

Well, if Ersey didn't miss his block or the TE didn't fall down it may have been just an incomplete pass. Stroud got hit....as he threw. Yes, he should have just dirted the ball and probably panicked as the defender was on him and his outlet was on the ground.

As bad as CJ played we still could have won but others also played like sh*t and couldn't overcome CJ's meltdown.
