did you even watch the game? He absolutely dominated Wemby in the first half so much to the point that they changed their entire defensive scheme to stop him, what is he suppose to do against a double team and Amen being left wide open and too afraid to shoot the ball…. Not to mention he injured his ankle again. His best game ever came against Wemby.
I was at the game he looked soft against these midgets. This man has lost his touch and its been 2 years now since he had it. He had single coverage as well he just couldn't hit.
Did you? I was actually at the game Sengun didn’t dominate anything in the 1st half as usual, now it’s everybody else’s fault he was garbage all 2nd half until that ankle injury, so I’m not trying to hear that excuse either must be so easy being Sengun, because nothing is ever your fault and the excuses are unlimited if it’s not Ime, then it’s his teammates, or his ankle, or the refs, or double teams, or because he’s tired in January because he played Eurobasket…
Down for trading Sengun for the right guy. Giannis is not that guy imo. Mavericks really f’d it up by trading Luka without letting anyone else know.
This right here. Giannis is declining and soon to be 30s Westbrook 2.0. Pass. I'm all ears if its for Ant, Shai, Jokic, etc.
Shia ain’t going anywhere and Jokic if he ever leave would be Lakers. Honestly Wolves trading Ant within 3 years is not out of possibility when they don’t have any assets to build around Ant while being middling team in the west. Problem is Jazz and Spurs hold the future picks so gonna be hard to out bid them. Sucks that we only have Amen as somewhat franchise worthy player out of all our picks. Maybe Reed might have chance under different coach but not under Ime
100% agree. Just saying, if we're going to trade, let's get some real assets. I'm not paying a king's ransom for achilles-waiting-to-rupture Giannis, because Sengun by himself ain't going to do it. Also, don't want to be the next Clippers, wishing they hadn't traded everything they had for old Paul George when Shai is the MVP of the league.
Absoluely, If we are trading SEngun it needs to be for premium draft picks and a useful youngish player.
Even if we trade Sengün for Giannis we’re still going to deal with the same problem which is lack of depth, PG play, and spacing. IMO we lost to SA because their bench outscored our bench by more than 20 plus points and Ime is only willing to play 7 guys more than 15 minutes a night
I agree. The Rockets need to look around for a star perimeter player, a one or 2 guard would be ideal. I wish Ant was available. I don’t even like Luka but I would’ve made that trade, we need someone to control the game on the perimeter. Big men are easily replaceable compared to Star perimeter players. I don’t know who we can get but the Rockets need to test the market while his value is at his highest. Amen and Sengun cannot coexist, I’d rather keep the player that has the most upside. Then later trade Jabari in the off-season. Stone won’t do it tho, he gone wait until these dudes lose trade value and then try to trade them. I wish we could find a way to get Harden with Eason. Then maybe trade Alpi for another big man. Maybe a stretch big and keep capela as the lob threat off the bench. This team can be fixed, the management just need to wake up and be proactive
I like him. You would basically throw away Durant's remaining years waiting for your rookie to develop. Are you going for it now or just punting several years down the line?
Yes to Luka or Ant for Sengun, that would be a worthwhile use of your asset. Not sure about the rest of your scenario though, lacks lots of details.
