Typical Ime. In 9 minutes he scores 5 points, gets 4 rebounds and 2 blocks and Ime just rewards him with a bench seat to watch it all go downhill. I can't stand Ime. He's so damn set in his ways with minutes for his "chosen ones" that adjustments just aren't gonna happen. I wish he was given a swift kick out the door. I could care less what BS he spews at his press conference. I can't even stand listening to that blah personality guy speak anymore.
I mean that would be nice and all, but what makes you say that? Certainly some teams will take a chance on him if the bench.
nah, this whole night was a dud but I’ve learned my lesson…I won’t be within a 5 mile radius of TC until the playoffs I swear like half the games I’ve been to I didn’t even enjoy myself because the team was unwatchable and got embarrassed…no more benefit of the doubt from me, I should’ve known better after going to the OKC game, but they reeled me back in I’ve been bamboozled for the last time
KD wasn't great, Sengun was subpar, and the PG-play was atrocious. Reed wasn't making shots and Amen was trash 2nd half. KD and/or Sengun needs to be great against a team like SA, if multiple other facets struggle. Spurs couldn't miss a layup 4th Q no matter how hard we contested. SA a tad lucky there but earned the win. Rockets are where there are... 4th seed.
Mentally weak team with a bad coach it appears Ime is really not a good coach! There are no plays being run by this team, ISOs will not work against a physical team, you will get worn out! How Brooks was included in the trade and not Jabari is beyond me. He was the key to our defensive identity and it’s now completely gone! When pressure sets in this team folds . And how did we give dfs a contract? He is missing wide open shots badly! A floor general, so real shooters and an offensive coordinator with change this team’s dynamics! As constructed, it’s a first round exit at best…
This team needs a real PG. There is no ifs or ands, about it. Get Chris Paul for god sakes or Malik Monk. This team if they want to go to the next level need a veteran PG and an offensive guard. I love Amen, but he will have to go through the same growing pains that Jason Kidd or Scottie Pippen went through. He needs to get shots up and practice. I do believe in him though. Reed Sheppard, I just dont know what to think. They attack him on d and single him out everytime he's out there. He has good games and then he puts up stinkers. If he's not good on offense then there is no point of him being on the floor. He picks up his dribble over little bit of pressure and he's supposed to be the table setter. Him and Alpi on the floor on defense is a joke. Pick and roll everytime, pick and roll everytime. Sengun is so soft. I am almost at the point of give up on him. I saw him get bullied by Keldon Johnson and Stephon Castle. Udoka didnt play Capela the second half and he was the only one blocking shots for the Rockets and we break our rotation off of hunches in Udokas mind.
That was a stinker!!!! On to Atlanta and then back home for Mavs NBA did the rockets no favors with this trash schedule When are we gonna feast on the east????
that's 2 straight disasterclass by reed he needs to spend his summer with rafer alston to improve his ball security and calvin murphy to improve shots selection i'm still annoyed with how he attacks going away from the pick. he doesn't do anything to cause the defender to run into the pick then go the opposite way.
Amen needs to slide into that defensive role D. Brooks was occupying. We absolutely need a real point guard.
I would do the trade. I just think Tari is too injury prone and I think once he hits FA he's going to get a bag that we won't be able to give him. I don't think it happens though if Ime has any say in it, he's not trading a defender like Tari for anyone in the league probably.
A PG is not going to help if all he is trying to do is get the ball to Durant at the top for an ISO while everyone stands around. DD
