Conner Weigman and Emanuel Sharp are two dudes that i'll never question. They make some stupid decisions but they'll put their bodies on the line every time all the time.
this team, like every sampson team, comes down to foul trouble. keep the front court out of foul trouble and you got a pretty ****ing good team. dont and you are in fight against most teams.
Whatever it is that Kingston Flemings has I wish I could put it in a bottle and sell it. He is such a joy to watch. Sadly we only have 11 regular season games and however far we go in the post season to watch him as a Cougar. Kid is special. We may never see anything like him again.
Hope the Rockets are paying attention. The way the Rockets are playing right now, they. may have a shot at him. Trade Reed so he can get some regular playing time. If you played the game, you know that coming in and out for brief periods restricts your development. By the time you get the "feel" of the game, you are coming out. Also, you press shots because you know you are not get many chances. Both bad.
I tried to watch some of the Rockets game during Cougar time outs and after game was finished. I try to watch most of the Rockets games. At times they are borderline unwatchable. There was one sequence almost immediately after Coog game was over where SA had taken the lead Sengun missed a baby hook and just kind of stood around while one of the Spurs grabbed the rebound while the Rockets were kind of looking at one another wondering what just happened. Quit watching shortly after that. I really enjoy UH men's basketball much more. It bothers me much more when UH loses one of their games. I have kind of grown apathetic towards pro hoops. Other than to watch ex UH hoopers play. If I could trade one player on the Rockets team it would be Sengun. Looks great at times but not really that great in the clutch.
Cenac had 14 rebounds, half the team’s total. I know it’s a new era of bigs that want to play on the perimeter as well as inside, he has a decent three-point shot, but he could be a dominant traditional, basic big man in college right now. He just reaches up and plucks the ball away from everyone else.
Seeing what Flagg and Knueppel are doing in the league makes you appreciate last years team that much more Crazy how far the power of friendship and some hard-nose coaching can take you
