Just a reminder that ICE is pursuing illegals who have refused the orders to self deport. These detainees are not victims, nor are the professional antagonists (many of whom are armed and dangerous) who are harassing and impeding ICE’s work. I prefer not to talk about personal issues because certain people (or trolls I should say) will twist words and scenarios My condolences about your mom - my hope is that you have a rejuvenated relationship with your mom and that things get better. opening up about your relationship with your mom. It is very brave, but it is also sincere and I appreciate that- I have a great relationship with both of my daughters - it was hard on me when they both moved away, but I actually am closer to the one who is very liberal believe it or not. (She is only 30 minutes away and we visit and meet often) we don't talk politics for the most part - we know we have differing views and that's ok and when we do on occasion, we try to find common ground - for example I was complementing how the NY mayor had good intentions I feel regardless of whether I agreed in whole and we had a good discussion; although we just honestly try to avoid politics is the way that I handle it and that's how we've had a great relationship. in many ways - we are very alike, despite having different political views. the one that I had an issue with is one more moderate in her political views that decided she's not going to be close with anyone in her family because she decided to be more free spirited, wants to travel, and met someone who absolutely encouraged that-(there was nothing political on that situation at all in fact, she leans slight right on many issues) naturally it was hard on both me and the wife and all the extended relatives and we wish she wasn't like that because we always thought our kids would live close to us and it didn't happen for at least one of them... It was a tough transition. but realistically she's grown and we love both of them -in fact, we ALL went to a restaurant near Opry Mills just recently - she loves her family but just has a outlook on living life that initially caught us off guard - she also announced she was engaged as long as she's happy that's the main thing. I Do you appreciate your words and I can tell you were being sincere, NOT trolling / especially opening up about the situation with your own Mother - Having kids is the best thing in the world it's also the worst when they leave the house- I admit, I had the hardest time coping because I didn't want anything to change- I think I inherited that from my mom because she was the same way she didn't want me to move out of the house and I thought that was so crazy until my kids turned 18 and then I realized it's such a crud feeling. I think what helps is that one of the two daughters is close with us and her family- But I can't begrudge the other one for wanting to move to Florida - We initially didn't like her boyfriend who is now her fiancé, but it's her life and that's the most important thing.
Credit to @basso for his strong investigative work Peacefully protesting a week earlier by assaulting and damaging federal property. Clearly unhinged and not sound of mind. Got away with it as these "peaceful" protestors always do then decided to show up to ICE with a semiautomatic in no ID a week later. Shows the amount of restraint ICE use on a day to day basis. If they knew of it for having him in their database when he impeded them again, Bovino deserve to be reinstated. But Trump will likely just be the bigger man and move on.
LOL Anything thing to not blame ICE for putting 10 bullets in that man. We have gone from it being the dead guys fault. Then it was left wing extremists fault. Then it was Tim Walz fault. Now it is the local Minneapolis police departments fault. There is a clear pattern here when it comes to MAGA - it is always, everyone else's fault - but never their fault.
I have followed the same line of thought from the start - and that's local law enforcement complying with ICE instead of leaving them to fend for themselves. That emboldens the agitators to do whatever they can to get a reaction. If he had a little jail time for his performance here, he'd be alive. Or maybe he was so radicalized he wanted to keep pushing until he got killed. Either way, until you stop your propaganda or call for police to cooperate, the agitator led violence won't stop in sanctuary cities.
