That's fine... but other teams are putting together their staffs as well... if this was the play, I hope they have the Texans' replacements already lined up
“It’s likely the Texans would fill the role with someone familiar with offensive coordinator Nick Caley, who specialized in coaching tight ends during his time with the New England Patriots and later the Los Angeles Rams. Caley will be retained for another year.” — Jon Alexander “The Texans retained offensive coordinator Nick Caley after his first season calling plays. The Texans are not expected to make major changes to the coaching staff. They are in discussions with other coaches as potential outside hires, per NFL sources. Texans quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson is a candidate for offensive coordinator with the Philadelphia Eagles, per sources. If Johnson was to land an outside job, an in-house candidate for his position that would be considered is senior offensive assistant Jerry Schlupinski.” — Aaron Wilson
Jerry Schuplinski was Daniel Jones Qb coach for his first year as a starter: 3,027 passing yards, 24 tds/12 int. 62% completion rate, the team was 6-10
I wanted to laugh, but alas I could not b/c probably true. I also noticed there is a wide receiver available in this draft from John Carroll University... I think I will place a prob bet that he ends up with the Texans
lol, ok our best bet next year is having the defensive dominance that we had this year because the offense will be looking like dog **** again next season
I keep hitting refresh hoping to see Jerrod Johnson sent packing. This is all I have left. Please football baby Jesus give me this at least.
I have been an Oilers/Texans fan for many, many years. I remember when Ed Peterson was the head coach of the Oilers (a memorable low point). I have seen many GMs, Head Coaches, and other staff come and go. Conclusion: Expecting the franchise to do the smart thing is likely to end in disappointment. Bet on the "dumb thing" and win a prize.
Anyone who watched the Texans knows the big problem was TE play. Everything else was smooth, so we should be good now - problem solved!
I hope and pray this young man comes back 100% but to be honest, anything we get is a bonus. I am not EXPECTING much so my disappointment will be set low.............the kids size scares me, but he seems like a good dude and I wish him luck
This WR is from the Woodlands and he's actually pretty good. I wouldn't have a problem at all if Caserio picked him in the 5th/6th rd.
