    But wouldn't this mean the Adams signing was very unwise in retrospect? Giving 3yr/$39 to Adams when you are so afraid that he'd be injured that you gave a 3rd string center $21mil, seems like he should've just signed Capela and bypassed Adams altogether.

    The cap hit for Adams is $14,500,000 this season.... he signed a 3/39 deal with the Rockets.
    Clint Capela is a hit of $6,500,000 this season.

    This isn't good.

    Nah, there are still plenty of teams that would gladly take Steven off of our hands in a trade even if he's not available til next season.

    If Clint does play well for the Rockets down the stretch, I think they should look to move Steven in the offseason. Even when healthy, he still can't play B2Bs and he inevitably misses additional games due to load management.

    The upside is our slowest defender and worst shooting rotation player is forced out of Ime’s hand.

    This team needs to move quicker and put up more threes.

    If we keep playing Durant 42 minutes a night for the offense to function, we can expect him to join Fred and Steve.

    How is Steven Adams positive value with a season ending injury? He was a FA last season meaning the Rockets paid him sticker price. Now you think he retains that value with yet another injury after several seasons of injury history? This is like saying if KD goes down with a season ending injury tomorrow, the Rocket can just trade him for a package similar to Jalen Green/Dillon Brooks/10th pick at the deadline, because "plenty of teams would gladly take him off the Rockets hands."
