We got so used to Morey and Dawson before him constantly swinging big deals that we thought that was just what was supposed to happen every trade deadline. Stone has pretty much reprogrammed me on that expectation. I don't suffer in the silence anymore.

    1. You have no idea what the suns will look like next season
    2. Giving up a 1st for a rental is a COMPLETE waste and incredibly stupid

Stone is like Pat Riley. They hang on to players too long and barely make any trades.

I’m not acquiring White unless I have a clear plan to re-sign him. not even sure if I would want to give up Adams in a few second rounders for him. I guess I would. or a first round pick that is Lotto protected, but I’m just not trading that much for a guy for half a season.

    1. Suns are 27-19 minus Jalen Green and Booker is not leaving anytime soon. The pick will likely be below 20.
    2. Durant is 37 years old and our window is closing very soon. If we don't go all in now then when?

Thats what you do when you go win now mode and get KD. Which is why I didnt want KD. He is short on time and the Rockets have no choice but to swing for the fences or else trade him.

I would not want him because he is 37 years old.

An ok guard is not "going all in", he makes no difference. We don't have the suns pick this season, i'm talking about their pick next season. Teams go up and down all the time.

Should have pulled the trigger on Fox last deadline. Golden opportunity missed and now we have to compete with the Spurs.

None of this is true. Rockets do not have to do anything idiotic just to appease him. What's he gonna do, ask out? Nobody would give a crap.

Fox is making 30-32% of the cap the next 4 years. HELL NO to fox, be thankful the rockets aren't morons.

Nah, that was a good decision. Can't have Amen, Sengun and Fox that can't shoot. Spurs lost lotta games because of that (lack of shot)

That pick is unlikely to end up as anything significant. White is as good a guard as you can realistically get in the market.

And I want $10M but unless someone is willing to pay it, doesn't mean Im going to get it. Same with Coby White. I don’t foresee anyone willing to pay him $30M.

Then again, I don't think Reed is worth $10M, when you have Cam Spencer with Memphis making 4 times as less and is playing just as well.

If that’s the case then definitely no Tari. I don’t wanna give up Tari anyway, but especially if
This would just be a half a year rental

NO to Tari for White. DFS plus a protected 1st is okay with me. Reed and White will be good for us. Amen will get more openings to shoot the ball.
