For the record... One side lied about what happened with the shooting. One side pretended to know the motives of the victim for being on the scene. One side obstructed legal judicial warrants from being executed. One side took evidence from the scene of the shooting. One side had a court order issued instructing them to not damage or tamper with evidence. One side has been ordered to appear before a judge with possible contempt charges because the judge has accused that side of not complying with judicial orders. Only one side has stopped arguing the evidence of shooting and launched a campaign to smear the name and reputation of the victim of the shooting. Every single one of those is from the federal agents. If they justified in what they did, why would they do this? Like John Stewart said, if they are telling these kinds of lies about what they know we could all see, imagine the lies about cases when we can't see. People filming like Pretti was are helping reveal the truth.

Also, “responsible” is a slippery word. You are correct, Pretti made choices in the moment that ultimately led to his death. If this is the bar for being “responsible”, then we there are an uncountable number of people responsible for his death. This notion of “responsibility” is, I must say, really just a way to deflect responsibility from the officers who decided to use lethal force on a man who posed no threat to them.
