I mentioned in another thread that DFS for White works well from a money perspective. What else would we have to send? I’d definitely send solid value for White. 19/4/5, .6 TS%, .37 from 3, decent size. Would be a great fit.
would be a solid 6th man and bench scorer which we desperately need. we'd have to get off a Suns pick or Nets pick for sure. if they have no intention of paying Tari what he thinks he deserves, probably do a swap.
I feel like it would take significant draft compensation if we're sending DFS. Also feels unlike this front office to sign a guy and promptly trade him half a season later, but who knows? I like White and he would definitely be worth a first round pick. Multiple FRPs, I don't know. I think I might actually prefer Ayo right now though, with the season he's having.
it was reported that the Wolves offer centered around Mike Conley and multiple 2nd round picks that is insanely cheap we can’t keep watching good players get traded for peanuts to our competition while we sit on our hands as a mid-tier WC team
It would probably need to be Adams. I think DFS is getting better, and the Rockets need another wing making shots. I'm guessing DFS is only traded for a bigger upgrade. Hoping Adams a SRP would be enough. I don't see Stone dealing a FRP for White.
I liked the idea of White last season and would be quite happy if the Rockets got him this deadline. He has the same issues on defense as Reed and needs to be covered up, but on offense he clearly would really help to provide more spacing, ball handling, and just general creation. However, the Bulls aren't rebuilding so something like DFS + Pick(s) is not likely to work. The best I can come up with is White + Dalen Terry (salary filler purpose only) for Tari + DFS + maybe a Rockets 1st lottery protected. Bulls need wings to Tari and DFS provides that. I may add a low 1st to sweeten the deal cause I like him, but honestly I think Tari+DFS by themselves may be enough.
Odd that we'd be so high on him given that he's long been an extreme defensive liability, though there's claims he's improved a bit....but it doesn't show up on paper at all. That said, Udoka isn't an analytics guy, so I could see him being high on him based on some really dumb eye test BS.
Bulls are 14-11 with Coby White 9-12 without him Bulls +3.7 net rating with him on the court Bulls -5.0 net rating with him off the court How is that indicative of the Bulls looking better when he’s out?
Sorry to poop everyone's party but if I'm not mistaken we can't re-sign him this summer (won't have his rights), which means he'd just be a rental for a few months. Not giving up Tari or picks for a few months of White.
This one is a "Coby", not a "Kobe". If you want the real deal, you need to acquire Kobe Bufkin from the G-League where he's tearing it up. Only behind Mac McClung in scoring.
