Clearly you all are the moral authority, excusing or even supporting this behavior.

    Says the "libertarian".

There shouldn't be a law, or reason to have a law, that prevents someone from posting someone else's personal info on the internet, right?

I don't see much "excusing or even supporting" any of this, I see a bunch of people acknowledging that this is the sadly inevitable outcome of several policies over several years. Several of which you support.

I don't say this lightly, but the way they flippantly talk about violence against regular people reminds me of the amphetamine-tweeked-up nazi ss divisions who swept up behind the front lines..."Oh a village? Why *shouldn't* we burn this village? We're *supposed* to burn the villages."

    No quotes required.
No, there doesn't need to be an anti-doxxing law.
Nothing is inevitable, it isn't a law of physics that if you are an ICE agent people leak your information and threaten your family. Those are the choices of individuals. I think those individuals are detestable.

I'm still not sure why on earth you lumped my post into this odd, self-pitying reply. It has nothing to do with the logic I posted at the time. If you want to reply to what I had posted, many days ago, go for it. But it really sounds like you had no real reply, at least then. Now we have another innocent corpse at the feet of ICE, of course.

    that was hard to read

Crushing testicles? Sexual abuse and torture?

How can you do stuff like this to other human beings? Seriously. How do you do stuff like this and then sleep at night? How do you live with yourself? How are you not in mental anguish 24/7?

wicked and evil aren’t strong enough words to describe these demons and those that support them…

I will never understand how depraved these people are…not a shred of humanity left in them

and the cherry on top is that they will call themselves Christians…like they really think God would be looking down at what they’re doing and what they’re supporting in approval

    The similarities are endless:
    -Both torture their detainees
    -Both call their victims terrorists
    -Both detain children
    -Both kidnap witnesses
    -Both kill healthcare workers
-Both prevent external investigations into their crimes
-Both block ambulances from reaching victims
    -Both train together
-Both hide their faces from the public

We are a violent species, in terms of factory settings. And more than anything else, Trump and other thug leaders like him, encourage their followers to release their vilest impulses. Pardon violent rioters. Pardon fraudsters. Turn a blind eye from what looks exactly like public murder or at minimum manslaughter.

We have a huge genetic overlap with this, never forget:

This can also help us understand some of the posters around here, as per the subheads of this forum.

I don't know where you got self-pitying. None of this affects me directly. I'm fine.

I included your post because in response to the person being doxxed and his family threatened, you said, "You do have to wonder, in this specific case, if the doxxing, etc, would be so bad if the regime honored standard procedure and launched an actual investigation into the slaying of a US citizen at point-blank range." That is excusing the doxxing and threats against the man's family because you are not satisfied with the investigation done by the government. It isn't the government's fault he was doxxed, it was the insane Antifa people.

As for the other half of the post, yes, the people doxxing MTG or whatever are also bad. Doxxing people and calling for them and their families to be killed is bad, m'kay.

Disagree on verb "excusing." But disagreement is fine. I was quite literally and honestly "just asking the question." Sweeping controversial and deadly acts under a rug of secrecy probably encourages more push from the populace. Standard protocol is to have an independent FBI investigation as automatic follow-up, and for states to have access to investigate such events on their soil. Would the doxxing have been as aggro if those hadn't been automatically blocked? Maybe, given the internet behavior of our age.

Agree completely, thanks. Take agreement wherever we can find it, cheers.

I believe everyone is responsible for their own choices. The agent chose to fire his gun. He may or may not be legally justified in doing so. The doxxers chose to doxx the agent. Unless there is some Minnesota law against doxxing I am unaware of (or the doxxers are in a jurisdiction that outlaws it, they could be anywhere), they are legally justified in doing so. They weren't forced to by the investigation or lack thereof to do it though (you can kind of tell that by the way they were doxxing ICE agents before the shootings). They decided that because they don't like immigration laws being enforced, that the enforcers should have their names and home addresses exposed. I am against that.
    Cheers.
