Denver D is better or equal to ours. I watched.

Drake Maye running was the entire offense. Patriots do not have an offense.

Seahawks making a mockery too. Two franchises reach SB with completely different rosters within 10 years.

Not sure about that. Our defense was probably the best in the NFL. CJ lost that game. It is what it is

He's not good. It's not giving up It's acknowledging he's not the answer and moving on.

I don't think CJ Stroud is good enough to have beat Denver's backup QB.

I would agree with this, the Denver D is dam good and that's why I hated the "pundits" saying we had a generational Defense. They are dam good and I would put them against anyone and that type of D travels in bad weather. I think our offense would have played the same as the Broncos............BUT, I do believe this was the EASIEST path to the Super Bowl that we would have ever had.................only to get crushed by the Seahawks in the SB but at least we would have made it

Yep.... Been let down plenty of times by the Texans, but this was the first time I actually had tears in my eyes.

Blew a real shot. Next year Lamar and Ravens, and Mahomes and the Chiefs will be back in the fold. Sad we let this opportunity pass us by because of this lame offense.

it’s not just one game. I’ve watched 2yrs of bad football. Good QB’s don’t regress, they get better. They show progress in yr 2&3. Yes, give up on him. We are not gonna be the ones to “fix” him. I can’t watch another yr of CJ. I suspect Cal can’t either. Or at least I hope. It’s unwise to waste this historic defensive window with a bad QB.

The receiving core was just as bad as CJ. They may not seem that way because they never ****ing got open so it ended up all being on him. He may not be able to look at mistakes they made, but it’s just the quality of the play and a lot of that’s due to injuries some of that’s just due to lack of investment and the receiving core.

CJ threw behind or high to all the receivers all game. They got open plenty enough and the protection was ok. He just had a historically bad playoff outing and when I say bad it means the absolute worst. We have a top notch, albeit young, receiver room. Even Schultz was a good pass catching tight end. It is time to move on from Stroud.

I'm not defending the receiving core (or lack thereof). Most of them were hurt like you said. Stroud wasn't terrible and he's been regressing since his rookie year. He doesn't seem the field. He just throws the ball in Nico's direction hoping for the best or checks down to Schultz. Kirk had a bad drop early and one of the picks was on Hutchinson but that doesn't excuse his terrible play. The defense can't continue to bail him out. There's no way you pay him. It sucks to have to replace your QB but it's where we are. As I said if Burrow is available, Stroud, two first rounders a second and a 6th is worth it. We can't waste this defense

Anyone watching the games can see he made plays to win the games, two of them in snow storms. He’s not being carried

Buck up, Buttercup. There are no guarantees in the NFL. Refs don't work for the Chiefs anymore and Lamar isn't the same since the injury bug bit him.
