What does a Sengun + Tari/Bari + Filler trade package realistically get you?

Capela is a better player than the new and less improved Alpi. He actually plays defense and doesn’t hurt our offense and shoots the same terrible free throws that Alpi shoots. Monk and Sabonis for Alpi and Eason turns this team into a champion.

Would you like to write a short piece on why Capela is the better player? You can easily get it published on Clutchfans as part 2 to the Bruno Fernando article. The story is good too, instead of athletic vs not athletic, you now have old vs injured.

 

I would also try to keep Tari if possible on a team friendly deal.

People saying Sengun can’t be traded are like the JG crew who were saying he can’t be traded during his hot streak 2 years ago.

I agree he is a good player and borderline perennial all star, but if he doesn’t learn to shoot than he needs to focus more on passing and less on shooting because his FG% outside of restricted area is ATROCIOUS and he’s taking boneheaded contested middies, like JG level low IQ low % long 2s, he ain’t no KD

 

Imagine if his coach didn't play him outside the restricted area 99% of every game.

Novel concept a player won't look good being played to his literal main weakness.

 

My theory is Miles resembles Kwame Brown who is a second cousin of Jabari Smith Jr. Posters subconsciously want to make some sort of far fetched family reunion. That's it!

 

I think around the league people like Sengun but he really has made himself sort of a tough fit with his defense, and refusal to shoot the basketball outside of 5 feet from the rim.

If the rockets are making a big splash trade though I think he’s gotta be at the center of the deal. But his limitations and odd fit makes the suitors less likely to be too excited and likely means the rockets have to give up additional assets. At his contract price though I think most nba GM’s will be fine dealing with his contract as long as they get picks too. It’s the coach though that’ll probably protest because of how difficult he is to make work in a modern nba scheme. Most nba coaches probably prefer Jabari because he’s an easy fit in any lineup, and helps defensively.

I think Sengun + Jabari + picks probably gets you in the running for a big trade. Just really depends on how many of our picks Stone is willing to give up for the quality of player in return. Given Jabari’s contract though I think he cannot be traded till the summer right? So Stone will probably be leveraging the picks more than anything

you need to watch his highlights against 76ers, he took multiple contested middies outside of 5 feet. He needs to TAKE LESS not more.
