You think we'd consider letting Ime walk before trading baby Scola?

I think they will stand in front of crossroads .....tons of paths ahead of them.

Only the best for Tilman Maga Fertitta.

U can't be serious. Sengun struggles because he misses the easiest buckets around the rim, bricks free throws, air balls 3s and can't defend the rim. Those are things he should be getting better at individually. Ime puts him in the perfect situations to get a bucket

Sengun is just not the answer

Trading Jalen instead of Sengun is a big mistake. Pair Jalen with a rim running center would have unleashed his ability.

Bro cant even make free throws and youre asking for mid range shots? If I hear Craig say the word "flamingo" one more time.

Sengun spends more time planning his stupid outfits than working on his jumpers.

Last week, Bari was the scapegoat.

    This week, it’s Sengun.

A “heroes and villains” mentality is the sign of a weak mind.

Sengun is not a superstar, but he is our best shot at having a competent offense right now. Every half court possession should go straight to Sengun either at the top of the arc or in the low post with MAXIMAL off ball movement, specifically with multiple screens set up for KD. Ime is a defense first coach. That's why Reed doesn't close games despite his obvious talent. There is a storm brewing between the way Ime coaches and the best version of this team. I've said it before and I'll say it again: this roster is better suited for a Mike D'Antoni than a Ime Udoka. And if management believes that an unlocked offense is more important than Ime's defense then somebody needs to be fired or somebody needs to be traded. I think it's too early to make that decision, but that's where this is all heading. HOWEVER: if Fred returns, all of a sudden this all balances out. So they will play wait and see and that's ok.

Agree but Stone doesn’t do deadline trades.

Accoring to Sengun lovers he will be the first superstar in the 3 point era who cant shoot. Lol

Even if Sengun played in the post-up era he would struggle because he isnt tall or strong enough.

he needs to actually be able to shoot consistently before i even consider him a perennial all star. I want him to play as a facilitator, not as a #1 option

Its not just.this week with Sengun. His playing style just does not fit. Ive been saying it for yrs.

He's a center in a PF's body, he has no game outside of 15 ft

You are being too generous there, once he is outside 6 ft his shots are prob less than 40%

He will end up being a one time all star. Trade him while the value is high.

God I'd be so happy if Sengun could shoot mid range jumpers like Scola - he has all the tools to do such, but there seems to be a mental block for him

    Dumbass ninja.

    And you love Aben Thompsimmons?

Green: 3x player of week, 1x rookie of month, all-rookie first team
Sengun: 2x player of week, 1x all-star, 1x tournament team
Amen: 1x defensive player of month, all-rookie second team, all-defensive first team
Scola: averaged 12 points, never more than 2.5 assists, 1x rookie of month, all-rookie first team, never made all-star game, never made all-nba

Seems like he has a lot more in common with your boy Jalen Green?

And you(htg) LOVE Rafael Stone. “Stone is so much better than Morey! Stone is doing a phenomenal job on the rebuild!” If “Baby Scola” is his best draft pick, what does it say about 1. Stone 2. The rest of the guys? They can’t clear the low, low bar of “Baby Scola”?!

    1-16 Alperen Şengün
    1-4 Amen Thompson
    1-2 Jalen Green
    1-3 Jabari Smith Jr.
    1-17 Tari Eason
    1-3 Reed Sheppard
    1-20 Cam Whitmore

Dumbass Jalen fans went from “Jalen is our best player” to “Amen is our best player”.

    Jalen
    is our best player
Aben Thompsimmons is our best player
Soon: “2027 PHX/BRK picks are our best player”

    Great post.

It is interesting though, as a former Jalen fan I'm actually less hesitant to believe in Amen's potential stardom because he's like the min/maxed version of Jalen. Jalen was a super athletic kid with a streaky shot who could look like a megastar or complete trash. Amen's even more athletic in every way, but even less skilled. I can't trust that at all tbh. I still think Alpi's the most consistent prospect we've had and I'm really hoping he gets out of this slump and continues to rise. It'd kinda suck if he actually was just another Sabonis tiered/style player after all. (And lets be honest, Sabonis is a much better shooter.)

I’m Turkish, and I don’t really care whether Alperen is a superstar or not. He’s on a very reasonable contract and is an amazing guy for building chemistry and creating an identity. You guys lost a lot of that identity when Dillon left. You need to be careful about keeping hustle players with good hearts. You are lucky to have Alpi
