Most coaches would probably re-evaluate the direction and try and maximise the talents we do have available. Ime's plan is likely "we just need to work harder, hustle more, turn defense into offense."

It’s so clunky. Somehow we managed to make offense worse. He just wants to iso and thinks he’s some savant playmaker. He randomly declines the ball or plays guys want to run. It’s not a fun watch at all.

Remember him during OKC time it's the same iso play. Not sure why we had different expectations of him this time on Rockets

KD is a coach killer. Is there a way around this? KD is not part of our long term but too good to give up in the short term. There is no easy solution. Coach isn’t going anywhere and too stubborn to change. It’s so disappointing and dysfunctional because the talent is here. The entertainment value is low because as we wait for the inevitable veteran break down. Then we all talk about next season and what should have been. We are broken without much hope because the season is too long for us sustain any hope of successful consistency against upper end talent without some kind of change. —> treadmill too good but not enough (the way it’s used).

Apparently our execution is horrible. We have the slowest halfcourt pace in the NBA since 2013. That's just not going to cut it in the playoffs because if we're struggling to do it in the regular season, we're going to struggle even more in the playoffs. Kind of like last playoffs where we didn't seem to have solutions for the predictable things Warriors were doing to disrupt us. We desperately need them to pick up the pace and make the offense more dynamic - we iso way too much for the regular season.

On the play in question, I always favor more movement and rewarding cutters. Even if the results are similar, it just produces a better momentum and energy in the game. Keeps the defense guessing.

I'm really worried that this team looks like it just got out of training camp offensively. I know we have time to tighten things and they've worked on things, but it feels like the offense should be more nailed down at this point of the season.
